  • Publication number: 20240332666
Abstract: A battery module for a motor vehicle, including a cell stack with a first stack side and with a plurality of battery cells, each of which has a first pole terminal on a first cell side which is part of the first stack side, and including a module housing in which the cell stack is arranged and which has a cooling cover. A space is formed between the first stack side and the cooling cover, which space is only partially filled with the heat-conducting compound, so that at least a contiguous first partial region of the space, which is located between the first pole terminals and the cooling cover, is completely filled with the heat-conducting compound, and a second partial region of the space.

  • Publication number: 20210028412
Abstract: A battery for an at least partially electrically operated functional device, including at least one battery cell module, in each of which a predetermined number of battery cells is clamped by a mechanical clamping device to form a cell stack. The clamping device transmits a traction force or a contact pressure corresponding to the traction force to the cell stack by delimiting elements and traction elements. A frame element is arranged in each case between at least two or some or each of the battery cells and/or the respective terminal battery cell and the delimiting element is arranged adjacent to the respective terminal battery cell and associated with it. The frame element includes a circumferential part and a free volume delimited by the circumferential part.

  • Patent number: 8593165
Abstract: A solar generator for spacecraft or satellites, including a solar panel, a detector layer, a first evaluation means and a second evaluation means. The solar panel includes a plurality of solar cells. The detector layer includes first conductors substantially in parallel in a first plane and second conductors substantially in parallel in a second plane. The second plane is substantially in parallel to the first plane such that the first conductors are at an angle to the second conductors. The first evaluation means is for detecting a failure of one or more of the plurality of solar cells. The second evaluation means is for testing electrical status of the first conductors and the second conductors to determine whether the failure detected by the first evaluation means was caused by a space object damaging or severing one or more of the first conductors and the second conductors.

  • Publication number: 20020189310
Abstract: This invention concerns a device for the manufacture of polygonal tubes, with a base frame (2) and an upright assembly wall (10) that is equipped with a rotating mandrel (7) having a polygonal cross-section and a drive system (6); a corrugated strip of foil (60) fed by feed rolls (29) is wound onto this mandrel; on both edges, the strip of foil (60) has a pre-formed fold; during the winding process, adjacent edges with such pre-formed folds can be inserted in each other and closed to form a fold; in the assembly wall (10), shafts (16) that are concentric to the axis of rotation of the mandrel (7) carry arms (20) with rolling tools (30) directed at the mandrel (7).
