  • Publication number: 20250007118
Abstract: A contact sheet metal member includes a first contacting section for contacting a first component of an energy storage element, a second contacting section configured for contacting a second component of the storage element, and a connecting section disposed between the first contacting section and the second contacting section. The first contacting section, the second contacting section, and the connecting section have a top side and a bottom side. The top side of the connecting section faces the bottom side of the first contacting section and the bottom side of the connecting section faces the top side of the second contacting section. The member further includes a first bending zone and a second bending zone. The second contacting section has a recess or an aperture that forms a receptable for the first bending zone.

  • Publication number: 20240396129
Abstract: An annular seal for a lid assembly of an energy storage cell includes an outer annular segment with two ends. The outer annular segment continues, at a first end of the two ends, into an inward-facing collar that narrows the outer annular segment at the first end. An inner edge of the inward-facing collar continues into an inner annular segment. The outer annular segment also has an inwardly pointing circumferential nose provided with an undercut. A lid assembly including such an annular seal, an energy storage cell including such a lid assembly, and an assembly of such energy storage cells are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20230344048
Abstract: An energy storage element includes a sealed housing and an electrode-separator assembly disposed therein. The housing includes a metallic cup-shaped housing part having a housing bottom, a circumferential side wall, and a terminal opening, and a lid assembly closing the terminal opening of the cup-shaped housing part. One edge of an anode current collector or of a cathode current collector is electrically connected to the housing bottom and another edge is electrically connected to a contact sheet metal member which is directly seated on this edge. The lid assembly includes a metallic cover plate and a terminal pole which is guided through an aperture in the cover plate and is electrically insulated from the cover plate. The terminal pole is seated directly on the contact sheet metal member and is connected thereto by welding. Furthermore, the terminal pole is electrically insulated from the cover plate by a cured potting compound.

  • Patent number: 6633742
Abstract: An adaptive performance support system is disclosed for facilitating access and presentation of information to a user. The system receives input of a scope of interest of the user including an access level, a working mode and a lesson/task/subject. The access level reflects the proficiency level of the user, such as novice, intermediate or advanced. The working mode reflects what the user wants to do, such as undertake a lesson to learn about, perform a task or browse topical or task related information on a particular subject. The lesson/task/subject is the subject matter of interest to the user. The system then selects information relevant to the chosen lesson/task/subject, oriented to the specified working mode and appropriate to the specified access level from a general pool of knowledge. The selected information is then interactively presented to the user avoiding the presentation of extraneous information.
