  • Publication number: 20210228254
Abstract: An apparatus for supply of coolant, particularly CO2 that is preferably provided in bottles, to cryosurgical instruments. The device may be a mechanical or thermal compression device. A pump may supply the CO2 taken from the bottle in a buffer container with a desired operation pressure. The pressure in the gas bottle can be less than the desired operation pressure. The apparatus includes a tempering device that is configured to bring the coolant to a desired temperature, particularly a temperature that is higher than the temperature in the gas bottle or in another storage container.

  • Publication number: 20210153887
Abstract: A probe for electrosurgical treatment of tissue. An electrode is movably arranged in an extension direction of an electrode channel inside a probe body. The probe body is connected with an operating device at the proximal end. The operating device comprises an electrode operating element to shift the electrode along the electrode channel. The movement coupling between the electrode operating element and the electrode is established via a reduction gear, for example a lever gear.

  • Patent number: 10569022
Abstract: The invention relates to a supply system having at least one outlet for connecting to an applicator instrument, and having a controller (51) that controls at least one valve (50, 50?, 50?, 50??) such that, within an application time interval of less than 4 s, in particular less than 2 s: a) a first fluid during at least a first delivery interval (T1) with a first pressure (ph) is conveyed in a first feed line (11); b) a second fluid during a second delivery interval (T2) following the first conveying interval (T1) is conveyed with a second pressure (pz) in a second feed line (23); and c) the first fluid, during at least a third delivery interval (T3), is conveyed with a third pressure (pl) in the first feed line (11).

  • Patent number: 10240596
Abstract: The pump unit (10) has a particularly simple design, which includes just two housing parts (14, 15) and also four valve closure members (37) and pump pistons (25, 29). The valve closure members (37) are preferably identical to one another and are trapped in a pocket between both housing parts (14, 15). The housing parts (14, 15) are preferably permanently interconnected by an ultrasonic weld seam. The valve closure members are formed by disc-like or plate-like plastic parts, which are resilient per se and which may optionally have a central pin (42) as an assembly and orientation aid. As desired, the valve closure members bear against their respective valve seat (43) with or without bias and form valves which open and close particularly reliably, are responsive to the slowest flow velocities and can be easily sterilized.

  • Patent number: 9066722
Abstract: An instrument (10) for fusing and severing vessels in accordance with the invention comprises a first branch (19) with a first electrode (33) and a second branch 20 that is supported so as to be movable toward and away from the first electrode (33), wherein the second branch (20) has a longitudinal slit (31). A knife (21) is arranged in said slit so as to be movable longitudinally relative to the shaft (11). The knife (21) is associated with a vertical adjustment mechanism (54) for adjusting the knife (21) perpendicularly to the longitudinal movement as a function of the longitudinal movement of said knife. As a result of this, a premature dulling of the tip (28b) or the sliding edge (28a) of the knife 21 due to contact with the ceramic base body (23) or the edges or the step (55) is avoided.
