  • Patent number: 7131619
Abstract: A display apparatus includes a stationary base portion and a support member mounted to a top surface of the stationary base portion. A vertically extending pole is disposed through the interior of each of the support member and the base portion along a center axis, thereby permitting selective rotation of the support member. The support member includes a plurality of lateral side panels for displaying graphic and or other materials, such as photographs and advertising. The vertically extending pole permits electrical leads to be routed therethrough to connect, for example, to at least one light source.

  • Patent number: 6585216
Abstract: An A-frame stand for supporting display boards is made from a pair of like, inverted, generally V-shaped end members and a pair of rigid cross pieces that extend between the end members to maintain them in spaced, vertical planes, and in registry with each other. A pair of board supporting tracks are adjustably mounted by a plurality of hanger elements to one or to both sides of the A-frame stand to extend between the end members in vertically-spaced, parallel relation to each other. Each hanger is in the form of a metal strap secured intermediate its ends to one side of a track at one end thereof, with opposite ends of the strap extending around a leg of an end member and being releasably secured together so as to allow vertical adjustment of each track on the stand. Each track has at least two longitudinally extending recesses or grooves in both its upper and lower surfaces for slidably accommodating one edge of a display board.

  • Patent number: 6003259
Abstract: A rigid panel has projecting from the planar face thereof an elongate, transparent housing open at opposite ends and having an elongate slot in the underside thereof. Mounted in the housing is an elongate, transparent, flexible retainer comprising a strip of flexible, transparent acetate material which is generally U-shaped in cross section, and which has a portion thereof urged resiliently and removably against the face of the panel. The upper edge of a document may be inserted through the slot in the housing and between the panel face and the overlying portion of the retainer strip which retains the document removably and permits all information thereon to be observed through the transparent housing and retainer strip.

  • Patent number: 5904373
Abstract: The jacket has flexible front and rear walls which are connected together along the bottom and one side of the jacket, but which are separable from each other along the top and other side of the jacket to enable a document to be inserted between, or to be removed from between the front and rear walls. The rear wall has secured to the back thereof two, flexible magnetic strips for removably securing the upper and lower ends of the back wall against the face of a ferrous metal panel. The front wall, which is transparent extends slightly beyond the back wall adjacent the top and other side of the jacket and has secured to the back thereof along its upper edge another flexible magnetic strip which releasably engages the face of the supporting panel to hold the jacket closed when mounted on the panel.

  • Patent number: 5425160
Abstract: The clamp comprises a strip of heat-settable plastic which has two spaced, parallel strip magnets secured on one surface thereof, and which is bent into generally U-shaped configuration, for example by directing a heat Knife onto the plastic strip medially of the space between said magnets, while folding opposite ends of the strip toward each other until the two magnets are placed in registering engagement with each other. After the plastic strip has been folded it is cooled to heat set the radiused fold, which thereby helps to retain the clamp closed and the magnets in engagement with each other.
