    Abstract: Low light level illumination is applied to rotary blades of vehicles to increase visibility to minimize ground injuries. Either photoluminescent paint or photoluminescent film may be affixed to rotary blades in use to help deter accidents. An electro-luminescent film may be integrated into future rotary blades to provide greater visibility without making the vehicle vulnerable to detection.
