Abstract: A portable lighting assembly, such as a flashlight, is disclosed. The portable lighting assembly may include a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and a laser controllable by a switch. In some examples, the LEDs are of different colors and the laser is green. The portable lighting assembly may include a lens shield to direct light emissions when in an extended position and not direct light emissions when in a retracted position. The portable lighting assembly may also include a plurality of collimators disposed above the LEDs and a lens disposed above the plurality of collimators and the laser and through which the LEDs and the laser project light.
