    Abstract: A security plate for entrance doors adapted to be secured by tamper resistant fasteners to the stop member of a door frame. The plate is elongated to extend above and below the lock area of the door. The plate has a relatively thick flat edge that abuts a closed door and the plate is formed with a concave portion adajcent the thick edge and connected thereto by a smooth tool-deflecting ramp.
