    Abstract: The preparation of 2,4,5-triamino-6-hydroxypyrimidine by catalytic hydrogenation of 2,4-diamino-6-hydroxy-5-nitrosopyrimidine is carried out by performing the hydrogenation in the presence of noble metal catalysts without the addition of basic agents before and during the hydrogenation, and adding the base required for dissolution of the product and for separation of the solution of the product from the catalyst only after the completion of the hydrogenation.
