  • Publication number: 20240126038
Abstract: A panel system includes a chassis holding one or more tray arrangements, which are each configured to receive one or more cassettes at two or more bays. The tray arrangements and cassettes cooperate to define a cassette sensor arrangement and a port occupancy sensor arrangement having separate interface points. The cassette sensor arrangement may include electronic memory storing physical layer information about the cassette. All active components of the port occupancy sensor arrangement are disposed on the tray while the electronic memories of the cassette sensor arrangement are stored on the cassettes.

  • Publication number: 20200188297
Abstract: A topical ophthalmic formulation of an LXR agonist that could be used for treating dry-eye disease. Examples of LXR agonists that could be used include naturally occurring oxysterol compounds, such as ouabagenin or hyodeoxycholic acid, or synthetic, non-sterol compounds such as IMB-151 or T0901317. The LXR agonist compound may be encapsulated within biodegradable nanoparticles, such as poly(lactic/glycolic) acid (PLGA) nanoparticles, micelles, or liposomes. Experimental work establishing proof-of-concept has been performed.

  • Patent number: 8372966
Abstract: The present invention describes reagents and methods for using a concatemerized double-stranded oligonucleotide molecules (CODN) for transcription factor decoys. In one embodiment, the concatemers consist of a variable number of end-to-end repeated copies of a short (more than 5, 10, 15, 20, 2, 3035, 40, 45, 50, 75, 100, or more by but generally less than about 3 kb) dsDNA containing a sequence or sequences that act as transcription factor decoys. The present invention also provides for the use of the polymers for CODN/polymer complexes to a specific cell type; thus the agent can be made organ, tissue and/or cell-type specific. In another embodiment, the present invention provides for use of the CODN's in vitro or in vivo, in isolated cells or intact animals in which specific blockade of transcription factors or delivery of DNA or other biological effector is desirable.

  • Patent number: 7069198
Abstract: A method for formulating paint is disclosed. The method includes providing a plurality of color coordinates of paints formed from a plurality of formulations and providing durability data related to the paints. Thereafter, the color coordinates, the formulations and the durability data are correlated to assist in forming paints of acceptable durability.

  • Patent number: 5907495
Abstract: Color space models are developed using designed experiments of pigment and binder ratios of a plurality known paint formulations for correlating color coordinates in a three-dimensional color space and paint constituents. Capabilities of the paints are determined by limits placed upon the constituents. Each color space model is used to return respective constituent apportionments for achieving predetermined color coordinates. Constituent apportionments within the respective limits correspond to paint formulations within the color space capability of the corresponding known paint formulation. When all such respective constituent apportionments are within the respective limits for each known paint formulation, the predetermined color coordinates are achievable and within a common color space capability of the known paint formulations.
