Patent number: 12271513Abstract: A processing device sets a first flag that indicates whether a first critical security parameter (CSP) file exists. The first CSP file includes a first set of CSPs for a memory device. The processing device sets a second flag that indicates whether the first CSP file is valid. The processing device sets a third flag that indicates whether a second CSP file exists. The second CSP file includes a second set of CSPs for the memory device. The processing device sets a fourth flag that indicates whether the second critical security parameter file is valid. The processing device selects one of the first or second CSP file as an active CSP file based on an evaluation of the first, second, third, and fourth flags.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 2023Date of Patent: April 8, 2025Assignee: Micron Technology, Inc.Inventor: Walter Andrew Hubis

Publication number: 20240346188Abstract: A command to perform a data operation at a memory device is received. The command includes an encryption key tag. A first key table is accessed from local memory. The first key table includes a first set of key entries corresponding to a first set of encryption keys. The first key table is searched to determine whether it includes an entry corresponding to the encryption key tag. Based on determining the first key table does not include an entry corresponding to the tag, a second key table is accessed from RAM. The second key table includes a second set of key entries corresponding to a second set of encryption keys. A key entry corresponding to the encryption key tag is identified from the second key table. The key entry includes an encryption key corresponding to the encryption key tag. The command is processed using the encryption key.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 26, 2024Publication date: October 17, 2024Inventor: Walter Andrew Hubis

Publication number: 20240271454Abstract: System and for interment of cremated remains with module above-ground columbariums. Columbariums are formed from either a monolithic block of stone or individual blocks that are stacked on top of each other. Spacers may be used between adjacent blocks in the vertical stack to enable two adjacent units to be interleaved. Support rods may extend through interleaved portions to enable adjacent units to be rotated with respect to each other as well as penetrating down into a below-ground foundation to provide resistance to overturning. Modularity may be achieved at the single-block level where each block contains only one niche, minimizing the capital expenditure operators must make to increase capacity for the facility. A separate six-sided columnar columbarium unit may also be provided with faces that alternate between pairs of drilled niches and corresponding memorials. Multiple layers of this may be stacked vertically together.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 13, 2023Publication date: August 15, 2024Inventor: Walter Andrew Martinez

Patent number: 12028786Abstract: A system provides ultra-wideband (UWB) positioning. The system exchanges ranging signals at a first rate between a UWB beacon and a UWB tag. The system then determines movement or location information of the UWB tag; and select, based on the movement or location information, a second rate for exchanging subsequent ranging signals between the UWB beacon and the UWB tag. The system then exchanges the subsequent ranging signals at the second rate between the UWB beacon and the UWB tag.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 2021Date of Patent: July 2, 2024Assignee: JOHNSON CONTROLS TYCO IP HOLDINGS LLPInventors: Walter Andrew Martin, Yucel Aydogan, Irene Lam

Patent number: 11487349Abstract: An attraction capable of incorporating user interactivity. The attraction utilizes a slide for supporting a rider, with a ride vehicle or without. The ride vehicle may support one or multiple riders that allows the riders to manipulate its position or other associated elements while on the attraction. Upon manipulating an element, a signal may be transmitted. This signal may aid in determining whether a rider has successfully manipulated the element, for example, at an appropriate time. Sensors along the attraction may also be configured to track the user and/or ride vehicle via determining vicinity of the user and/or ride vehicle at a known location. Various rewards and/or features may be enabled based upon successful manipulation and/or user position. The attraction may include one or more illuminating features. Statistics or other information may be determined, stored, and/or provided (e.g., using mobile applications and/or scoreboards) relating to user performance.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2017Date of Patent: November 1, 2022Assignee: WhiteWater West Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Rick Briggs, Aaron Mendelson, Rick Sebulsky, Mohammed Sahill Rafiq, William Walter Andrews, Keith James Campden, Mitchell Keith Fitzgibbon
