  • Patent number: 11848010
Abstract: Systems for analyzing and categorizing audio content that has been transcribed into text are provided. The systems include at least one machine that has a central processing unit, random access memory, a correlation module, a feature abstraction module, and at least one database. The correlation module is configured to receive written transcripts (each of which has been generated from audio content) and derive a correlation between each written transcript and one or more attributes. The feature abstraction module is configured to receive instructions that identify specific words within the written transcripts; replace the specific words with surrogate words; and associate correlative meanings with each of the surrogate words. The database is configured to receive, record, and make accessible to the feature abstraction module a table of specific words, each of which is associated with corresponding surrogate words and correlative meanings associated with each of the surrogate words.

  • Patent number: 11410661
Abstract: A system for analyzing audio content is disclosed. In general, the system includes a transcription module, a correlation module, and a database. The transcription module is configured to receive a plurality of audio (and video) files generated by a plurality of different sources, execute speech-to-text transcriptions in real-time based on portions of audio content included within the audio files, and generate written transcripts of such transcriptions. The correlation module is configured to receive metadata associated with each of such audio files, derive correlations between such written transcripts and metadata, and report such correlations to a user of the system (and/or conclusions and classifications based on such correlations). The database is configured to receive, record, and make accessible for searching and review the correlations generated by the correlation module.

  • Patent number: 11120199
Abstract: Systems for transcribing, redacting, and scoring audio content are disclosed. The systems include at least one machine that has a central processing unit, random access memory, a transcription module, a redaction module, and at least one database in communication with the machine. The transcription module is configured to receive a plurality of audio files generated by a plurality of different sources, execute speech-to-text transcriptions based on such audio content, and generate written transcripts of such transcriptions. The redaction module is configured to identify personally identifiable information included in the written transcripts and anonymize such personally identifiable information to create anonymized written transcripts. The database is configured to receive, record, and make accessible for searching and review the anonymized written transcripts generated by the redaction module.

  • Patent number: 10146869
Abstract: Systems for receiving, analyzing, and organizing audio content contained within a plurality of media files are disclosed. The systems generally include a server that is configured to receive, index, and store a plurality of media files, which are received by the server from a plurality of sources, within at least one database in communication with the server. In addition, the server is configured to make one or more of the media files accessible to and searchable by, one or more persons other than the original sources of such media files. Still further, the server may be configured to organize audio content included within each of the plurality of media files into bipartite graphs; segment media files into parts that exhibit similar attributes; extract and present meta data to a user that pertain to each media file; and employ multi-variable ranking methods to prioritize media file search results.

  • Publication number: 20130311181
Abstract: Systems for identifying, summarizing, and communicating topics and keywords included within an input file are disclosed. The systems include a server that receives one or more input files from an external source; conducts a speech-to-text transcription (when the input file is an audio or video file); and applies an algorithm to the text in order to analyze the content therein. The algorithm calculates a total score for each word included within the text, which is calculated using a variety of metrics that include: a length of each word in relation to a mean length of words, the frequency of letter groups used within each word, the frequency of repetition of each word and word sequences, a part of speech that is represented by each word, and membership of each word within a custom set of words. The systems are further capable of generating a graphical representation of each input file, which depicts those parts of the input file that exhibit a higher total score from those that do not.

  • Publication number: 20130138637
Abstract: A system for searching and ranking media files is disclosed, which includes a server that is configured to: (a) receive, index, and store a variety of media files, which are received by the server from a plurality of sources, within at least one database in communication with the server; and (b) receive at least one key word that is submitted by a user of the system through the website. The server will then query the database to identify all media files, which include at least one key word, and then ranks the media files in accordance with an algorithm. The algorithm produces a weighted ranking value, which reflects various attributes of each media file that is listed in a set of search results. The media files are then ranked in accordance with the calculated weighted ranking value.

  • Publication number: 20130124531
Abstract: Systems for searching and reviewing text files among a plurality of users are disclosed. The systems include a server that is configured to receive, index, and store a plurality of text files, which are received by the server from a plurality of sources, within at least one database in communication with the server. In addition, the server is configured to provide users with the ability to search for certain text files stored within the system. The search functionality will include an auto-complete feature, which provides a user of the system with a list of proposed key words to use when conducting the search. The proposed key words will represent the most frequently searched and information-rich key words that the system identifies over a period of time.
