  • Publication number: 20150359171
Abstract: An auxiliary mower cutting blade attachable to a mounting member of a lawnmower. The auxiliary mower cutting blade includes a mid-section portion forming a first longitudinal plane, first and second wing portions, each extending in a substantially upward-angled direction from a corresponding side of the mid-section portion, and first and second end portions, each extending from a corresponding wing portion. The first and second end portions form a second longitudinal plane, the second longitudinal plane being above the first longitudinal plane. A cutting region may be disposed on at least one edge of the first end portion and the second end portion, the cutting region including a downward-angled cutting edge.

  • Publication number: 20070191483
Abstract: This invention provides methods for improving reproductive performance of lactating dairy cows and other mammals. The method in the case of cows comprises feeding to the cows, a composition comprising conjugated linoleic acids (CLAs), cis-9, trans-11 and trans-10, cis-12. When these CLAs are fed daily to dairy cows starting at or prior to calving, and continued after parturition, an improvement in reproductive performance is observed.

  • Patent number: 5822155
Abstract: A magnetic latch assembly for immobilizing a read/write head of a disk drive is provided which magnetically couples to an actuator assembly housing the read/write head with enhanced force. A disk drive which includes the magnetic latch assembly is also provided. The magnetic latch assembly includes a magnet and a magnet holder including ferromagnetic material which at least partially surrounds the magnet and provides a medium through which flux produced by one pole of the magnet travels to an opposing pole of the magnet. The latch assembly magnetically couples the actuator assembly by contacting the actuator assembly in an area adjacent one of the poles of the magnet. In one embodiment, the magnet holder includes ferromagnetic material which surrounds the magnet. In another embodiment, the magnet holder includes a plurality of ferromagnetic flanges which at least partially surround the magnet.
