Abstract: An acidified food composition includes a cheese component, a condensed phosphate emulsifying system, and one or more additional additives that are different than the condensed phosphate emulsifying system. A method for forming the acidified food compositions is also provided.

Abstract: A coffee grounds disposal and strainer arrangement adapted to be utilized in conjunction with the operation of an automatic coffee brewer. A lid member covering the receptacle receiving the hot liquid or water and entrained spent coffee grounds from the coffee brewer is equipped with a plurality of venting apertures which will allow steam generated by the hot liquid in the receptacle channel to escape upwardly through the apertures. A U-shaped channel structure is formed on the upper ends of the receptacle sidewalls receives the lid flange. Hereby, any condensate liquid flowing down the flange from the inside of the lid member, which condensate is formed from steam emanating from the hot liquid in the receptacle will tend to collect in the U-shaped channel intermediate the lid member and the receptacle, thereby preventing such liquid or water from flowing outwardly and down the receptacle onto the table or counter top.

Abstract: The method and composition of the invention comprises one or more synthetically prepared, substantially pure compounds effective as odor attractants to lure coyotes having the structure-- ##STR1## where R is hydrogen or methyl and R' is hydrogen, secondary butyl or alkyl containing 1 to 17 carbon atoms placed on a solid substrate in an amount sufficient to attract coyotes.

Abstract: A bait post for coyotes has a vertical pole tapered at one end for facile insertion into the ground, a side arm attached at or near the end of the pole opposite the so-tapered end, a holder attached to the side arm, and a solid substrate held by the holder for holding agents to control coyotes.

Abstract: An elongated cage is selective in entrapping only pit vipers, the cage being open at one end to provide ingress for the triangular-shaped head of a pit viper, the other end of the cage being closed to prevent egress. A noose is placed at the open end, the noose allowing the snake to insert its head therethrough but constricting the neck at the junction of the neck and the head as the snake attempts to withdraw its head and the base of the triangular head abuts the nether side of the noose. A stake and tether anchor the cage which is customarily located in paths believed to be frequented by snakes. Rodent odor is sometimes used to enhance the trap's capabilities.
