Abstract: An apparatus for testing a battery comprises a casing having an open cavity and electric contacts fixedly mounted in the cavity. An electric mechanism is housed in the casing for measuring battery voltage and indicating the voltage value measured. The battery is received in the cavity to position it properly relative to the contacts. The contacts are electrically coupled to the measuring and indicating mechanism, and are spaced to make electrical contact with the battery terminals. A light bulb can be tested optionally using the battery voltage.
