Abstract: Liquid atomizer having a vibration generator for generating vibrations, an atomizer element receiving the vibrations, and a container with liquid to be atomized. Liquid is transported solely and directly from the container to the atomizer element by a wick of elastically resilient material in contact with liquid in the container and at a point remote from the liquid in the container, mechanically coupled to the atomizer element by disposing the wick against the atomizer element. A tube may surround the wick until almost to the coupling point.

Abstract: A method for discharging waste materials, such as household refuse, into a central sewage system. Prior to discharge, at least a portion of the waste products are crushed and stored in a container which container is connected to the sewage system by a pipe coupling which includes a solenoid valve controlled either by means of a timing clock or from a central control station. In the latter situation, the solenoid valve is activated preferably by a medium frequency signal generated at the station.

Abstract: An electrical cooking unit comprising a cover on which cooking can take place, heating resistors in the form of PTC resistor elements being distributed over the underside of the cover, the PTC resistor elements being made of a PTC resistor material, the resistance of which varies as a step function of temperature, and being distributed over the underside of the cover to provide zones on the cover of varying energy density and/or varying step temperature of the PTC resistors.
