    Abstract: A method and a device for bending and reshaping profiles by means of roller bending or matrix bending. The profile that is to be worked on is bent or reshaped under the influence of one or several bending tools. In order to be able to bend and reshape also brittle profiles that are difficult to bend, an oscillator whose oscillations are supplied to the profile that is to be bent or reshaped, at least in the reshaping zone, is assigned to at least one of the bending or reshaping tools, or both.
