  • Patent number: 6418967
Abstract: Pressure regulating valve comprising a connection for a pressure line (P), a connection for a working line (A), a connection for an outlet line (T) communicating with the ambient pressure and at least two diaphragm stages with defined or definable drag, the two diaphragm stages being connected to each other in a variable manner and subject to mechanical or hydraulic action according to the principle of the hydraulic half bridge. The two variable diaphragm stages are provided as the inlet and outlet diaphragms of a pressure regulating chamber (7) and each has a sealing element, said sealing element (5) of the inlet diaphragm (3) is designed as ball, or calotte, ortruncated cone, or cylinder and/or the sealing element of the outlet diaphragm is designed as ball, or calotte, or truncated cone, or cylinder.

  • Patent number: 6298564
Abstract: The present invention is a lightweight collapsible hand saw for use when camping, hiking or otherwise. The saw breaks down and can be consolidated into a single tubular shape, with all of the components fitting inside the tube. In the functional configuration, a triangular saw may be constructed out of two tubular members having different diameters, a saw blade and a tightening element. Alternatively, both a triangular saw and a buck saw may be constructed out of three tubular members having different diameters, a saw blade and a tightening element. The tubular members form the frame of the saw and contain slots for inserting the saw blade. The tightening element is provided to give the saw the necessary rigidity and impart the necessary tension on the blade. In addition, the apparatus can be used to form a campfire cooking utensil with a number of accessorising elements.

  • Patent number: 5688204
Abstract: In a shifting device such as generally used in automatic transmissions, a regulating device (15) is provided by the swiveling of which to a shifting gate (13) the automatic multiplication stages can be preselected. Besides, the regulating device can be transferred to a second shifting gate (14) via a transverse gate (17). According to the invention, in the second shifting gate (14) a characteristic field (1) is influenced by a continuously variable incremental or decremental change of individual operation parameters or a combination of at least two parameters. The operation parameters consist of the engine speed, the transmission ratio and the output speed.

  • Patent number: 5566586
Abstract: A steering stick (1) is disclosed for switching or actuating components of a utility vehicle, in particular a wheeled loader. In order to make handling and overview easier for the operator, the stick (1) has a handle (2) ergonomically adapted to the hand. Switching elements (6, 7) within reach of the thumb of the hand that grips the handle (2) are located in the head (3) linked to the handle (2). The switching elements (6, 7) are keys (10 to 13 and 15 to 17) and/or signaling elements, such as luminescent diodes. At least one further key (20) arranged on the back side of the handle (2) allows several keys to be actuated together.

  • Patent number: 5388477
Abstract: A gearshift device for electrically controlled transmissions is provided having a shifting lever pivotable in two parallel planes and guided in slides which have a connecting link only in the area of a neutral shifting position. Such gearshift devices are used particularly in construction machines. By way of a lock, which is activated below an admissible speed, a shift to the neutral position and into the opposite direction of travel is prevented. At higher speeds, accidental faulty shifts are prevented by a step-by-step gearshift mechanism. The locks, according to the invention, require only few regulation measures since they contain two mutually independent locking systems.
