Abstract: In a connection box for direct connection to a charging fluid duct of a charging fluid supply designed for intermixing a charge air and an exhaust gas to form a charging fluid, comprising a housing with a charge air connecting space including at least a connection for a charge air guide arrangement, and at least one mixing channel in communication with the charge air connecting space via a connection for supplying charge air to the mixing channel and the mixing channel including a supply side exhaust gas connection for an exhaust gas recirculation and a charging fluid-side mixing channel connection for the charging fluid duct, the connection is arranged at a first front side of the housing, and the mixing channel extends along a longitudinal side of the housing from the first front side to a second front side of the housing opposite the first front side.

Abstract: A carrier housing for a turbocharger arrangement to be fastened at an internal combustion engine includes first, second and third fastening flanges for fastening to turbines of a respective one of a high-pressure turbocharger, a first low-pressure turbocharger, and a second low-pressure turbocharger. The carrier housing is configured such that exhaust can be guided to the turbines of the high-pressure turbocharger, the first low-pressure turbocharger and the second low-pressure turbocharger via a respective one of the first, second and third fastening flanges. The carrier housing includes at least one connection flange by which the fastening flanges are directly in a fluid-guiding connection, with the connection flange being further connected to an exhaust guidance such that exhaust flows from the internal combustion engine through the first and second connection flanges and directly to the carrier housing.

Abstract: A carrier housing is provided for a turbocharger arrangement to be fastened at an internal combustion engine comprising a fastening area for a mechanical fastening of the carrier housing at an internal combustion engine and with a first fastening flange for a mechanically fastening of a turbine of a high-pressure turbocharger at a carrier housing, a second fastening flange for the mechanical fastening of a turbine of a first low-pressure turbocharger at the carrier housing, and with a third fastening flange for a mechanical fastening of a turbine of a second low-pressure turbocharger at the carrier housing.

Abstract: A filter head, designed to hold at least two filter elements. The filter head having a housing, into which feed channels to, and return channels from, the filter elements are integrated. A rotatable switching drum is provided for selectively opening or closing the channels to control the flow of fluid to the filter elements. The filter head has a cover, which closes off the housing, and a spring element, which produces an axial force which presses one of the sealing surfaces of the switching drum against the cover and the other sealing surface of the switching drum against the housing.

Abstract: Fine-grain silver halide emulsions of the Lippmann-type are described which comprise derivatives of heterocyclic mercaptans corresponding to the formulae: ##STR1## wherein: each of Z.sub.1 and Z.sub.2 represents the atoms necessary to complete a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring system,n is 0 or 1,X is --CO-- or --CS--,R is an alkyl group or an aryl group, andY is --CO--, --COO--, --CS--, --SO.sub.2 --, --CON(R.sub.1)-- or --CSN(R.sub.1)--, R.sub.1 being hydrogen, alkyl or aryl.Both in reversal and negative processing sharpness of fine detail is improved and the distortion of image-details is reduced.
