    Abstract: A coating composition is provided which comprises a solution of an aliphatic carboxylic acid containing at least four carboxyl groups and a fluoroolefin copolymer containing pendant hydroxyl groups. The composition is useful for coating various substrates and after thermal curing, a crosslinked, abrasion resistant coating on the substrate is obtained.
