  • Patent number: 5229696
Abstract: In a servomechanism, the stator and the rotor each have disk-shaped iron parts between which a disk-ring-shaped axial air gap is formed. The stator and rotor windings are fashioned as spiral-shaped conductor paths/interconnects on insulating layers which are glued onto the end surfaces of the iron parts of the stator and the rotor resulting in a very short axial length servomechanism. In addition, the null voltage is reduced due to the elimination of winding heads.

  • Patent number: 4675607
Abstract: A magnetic field probe contains an injected coil body having a cloverleaf shape and on which two windings offset relative to one another by 90.degree. are provided. The coil body is positionally fixed in precise fashion in recesses of a bipartite housing, and are fixed therein via supporting tabs. The housing is formed of two identically fashioned half shells which are joined to one another with a friction-type lock by means of fastening elements applied in complementary fashion relative to a center plane.

  • Patent number: 4406939
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a code disk for devices such as optical incremental shaft encoders and absolute shaft encoders employs the step of first assembling a code disk which is to be inscribed with a selected code pattern on a mounted shaft, prior to the inscription of the code pattern. The code pattern is subsequently inscribed on the surface of the code disk with a laser beam transmitter as the disk rotates about the shaft. The code disk is precisely positioned in relation to the laser beam transmitter by an angular step control device and the code pattern on the code disk is also precisely positioned with respect to the mounting location in the central area of the code disk.
