  • Patent number: 6319012
Abstract: The invention relates to a flexible strip conductor connection, by means of which electrical connections between an electrical device (2) and an external component (1) can be made, wherein the strip conductors (8) are located in or on a flexible foil (3), which is clamped on the electrical device (2) as well as the external component (1). In a predetermined area in the course of the strip conductors (8), the flexible foil (3) has a loop (6), which can be filled with an elastic material perpendicularly in relation to the foil plane, or the strip conductors (8) in the plane of the foil respectively have a loop-shaped deviation (9) perpendicularly to the course of strip conductor.

  • Patent number: 6243837
Abstract: A microcomputer (10) is proposed, which includes a central processing unit (11), a non-volatile memory (13), a volatile memory (14), a monitoring circuit (12) and also an input/output unit (16). Two different operating states are possible in the microcomputer (10). In the first operating state, the microcomputer executes a program which is located in the non-volatile memory (13). In the second operating state, the microcomputer (10) executes a program which is located in the volatile memory (14). The monitoring circuit (12) effects a resetting of the microcomputer (10) whenever it does not receive a monitoring signal for a predetermined time (watchdog timer). The microcomputer is distinguished in that it includes an element for suppressing monitoring signals which are always active whenever the microcomputer (10) is operating in the second operating state.

  • Patent number: 5886509
Abstract: A voltage stabilizer, having at least one supply-voltage input and at least one load-voltage output, has an in-phase regulator which is connected between the supply-voltage input and the load-voltage output. Provision is made for at least a first switching element, by means of which a first resistor is switchable in series to the in-phase regulator.

  • Patent number: 5857158
Abstract: The control unit, especially a motor vehicle control unit, includes a microcomputer (13), a programmable nonvolatile memory (14) connected with or integrated in the microcomputer (13), a serial interface (15) for the microcomputer (13) to which a serial data transmission line (12) can be connected over which data for programming the programmable nonvolatile memory (14) is received in the microcomputer from an external programming unit (11), and a low pass filter connected to a terminal (16) for the serial data transmission line. The low pass filter includes components that produce a signal for enabling the programming of the programmable nonvolatile memory (14) of the external programming unit is connected to the control unit via the serial data transmission line (12).

  • Patent number: 5712969
Abstract: A method for completely reprogramming an erasable, non-volatile memory (12) in a control device (10) is presented. The control device (10) has at least one central unit (11), a volatile memory (13), an erasable, non-volatile memory (12) and also input/output circuits (15). The data to be programmed are transferred from an external electronic device (18), such as a personal computer for example, to the control device (10). The control device then programs the received data itself into the erasable, non-volatile memory. With the method, the erasable, non-volatile memory (12) is divided into two areas (20, 21) that can be erased and programmed separately. Before the actual programming operation a programming module is written in each case into each area (20, 21). To reprogram the erasable, non-volatile memory (12), the programming module is written into at least one of the areas (20, 21) that can be erased and programmed separately.

  • Patent number: 5675069
Abstract: The invention is directed to a circuit for processing a signal (UL) of a lambda probe having a probe signal terminal on which the signal (UL) is outputted and a probe ground terminal. The circuit includes a voltage source having a plus pole and having a minus pole connected to the probe ground terminal. A first network of passive components is connected between the plus pole and the probe signal terminal for dividing the voltage between the plus pole and the probe signal terminal in a pregiven ratio thereby providing a divided potential as a first analog signal. An analog-to-digital converter has an input and is connected to a chassis ground at a ground potential different than the ground potential at the probe ground terminal. A second network of passive components is connected to the plus pole for supplying a potential proportional to the potential on the plus pole as a second analog signal.

  • Patent number: 4629401
Abstract: Radial piston pump, particularly for liquids, comprising at least one rad cylinder, at least one radial piston with associated piston head, at least one piston guide shoe, at least one eccentric element, and a device for attachment of the radial piston with the piston guide shoe or shoes. The piston heads contact with their bearing surfaces the bearing surfaces of the associated piston guide shoe or shoes, but the piston heads are not attached with the piston guide shoes at their bearing surfaces. On the side not contacting the piston head the piston guide shoe contacts the eccentric element. The piston head has an outer shoulder, which is grasped by the device for attaching the radial piston with the piston guide shoe or shoes. This device comprises a connecting sleeve associated with each individual radial piston, which embraces with an inner flange the outer shoulder of the associated piston head.
