  • Patent number: 11753053
Abstract: A method for operating a rail vehicle network, in which a plurality of rail vehicles travel. The rail vehicles determine their respective position in the rail vehicle network by forming position information. Each of the rail vehicles transmits its position information to a route-side central unit, and the central unit forwards the received position information to all rail vehicles in the rail vehicle network. The rail vehicles each have their own collision monitoring unit, which checks the received position information for a possible risk of a collision with one or more of the other rail vehicles, and generates a collision warning signal in the event that a collision risk is established.

  • Patent number: 11590993
Abstract: A method for displaying secondary signal devices for a driver of a railway vehicle during a journey by a railway vehicle. From a current vehicle position of the railway vehicle and an already known signal position of a secondary signal device, an actual distance of the railway vehicle in relation to the secondary signal device is determined. In the case that the actual distance is not reached in respect of a predefined current warning distance of the railway vehicle relative to the secondary signal device, a proximity of the railway vehicle relative to the secondary signal device is displayed to the driver.

  • Patent number: 9065776
Abstract: An addressable node unit includes connections for at least two lines via which the node unit can be addressed. The connections are connected to a circuit which evaluates an addressing signal. The node unit includes at least one power source which is supplyable with power via at least one of the lines. A switch is provided in the path between the evaluating circuit and the corresponding line connection, the switch being opened after an addressing process so that the power supply of the evaluating circuit is ensured by the at least one power source after the addressing.

  • Publication number: 20140075681
Abstract: A pencil-sharpener tool for carpenter pencils includes a housing, a pencil-tip-insertion hole, and a hex-bit-drive hole. The pencil-tip-insertion hole may configured in to receive a portion of a carpenter pencil. The hex-bit-drive hole may extend at least partially through the housing opposite the pencil-tip-insertion hole. The hex-bit-drive hole may also be in axial alignment with the pencil-tip-insertion hole and the central axis of the housing. The housing, the pencil-tip insertion hole, and the hex-bit-drive hole may be in fixed relation to each other, and may move in unison when the hex bit is inserted inside the hex-bit-drive hole and rotates clockwise or counterclockwise.

  • Publication number: 20070141886
Abstract: In an attachment part (13) for an electrical plug-in connection, wherein a frame member (16) is provided having inside surfaces (17) which are formed to essentially match the outside contour of a first electrical connecting element (3), and wherein the frame member (16) can be attached to a second electrical connecting element (6) and forms with its inside surfaces (17) a through opening (18) in the connection direction of the electrical connecting elements (3, 6), and wherein the first electrical connecting element (3) can be guided so as to be freely movable, it is proposed for reducing manufacturing and material costs and for improving compatibility with existing plugs that a safety wire clip (90) is movably connected with the frame member (16), and that the safety wire clip (90) is formed so as to secure a first electrical connecting element (3) connected with the second electrical connecting element (6) so that it cannot be pulled out.

  • Patent number: 7099474
Abstract: A key and lock device comprises a key having a first electronic circuit and a lock having a second electronic circuit. The key and the lock store secret information, some of which is unique for each device. The key and the lock exchange a random number through connectors and perform a calculation in the respective circuitry based on the random number and secret information. An electrical blocking mechanism is moved to a non-blocking position if a comparison of the calculations in the circuits gives the correct result.

  • Patent number: 4015208
Abstract: A frequency generator comprises a quartz crystal controlled oscillator subjected to at least one variable physical parameter such as temperature and has an arrangement for calibrating the frequency with respect to a standard signal with simultaneous compensation for variations of the physical parameter(s). This arrangement comprises a first set of selectable memories storing values to control the division ratio in a dividing chain. These memories are inscribed in a learning period for a few values of the physical parameter(s); simultaneously, digital values supplied by at least one probe, each value corresponding to a range of values of the parameter, are stored in a second set of memories associated with the probe(s).
