  • Patent number: 7152257
Abstract: The invention relates to a toilet construction comprising at least two adjacent toilet cubicles which respectively have a toilet and an access opening which can be closed by means of a door, said toilet cubicles being separated by means of a partition. According to the invention, the partition can be displaced between a separating position in which it separates the toilet cubicles from each other, and an unblocking position in which the two toilet cubicles together form an individual toilet cubicle. Alternatively, the partition can be displaced essentially perpendicularly to its wall plane in a shifted position in which the floor space of one toilet cubicle is enlarged and the floor space of the other toilet cubicle is reduced.

  • Patent number: 4875418
Abstract: A set of components for making furniture includes at least an elongated support section (102), connectable with at least one surface element (18) and/or at least one further support section, with such components providing a cable channel (104) extending along the support section (102).

  • Patent number: 4657316
Abstract: The invention relates to a viewing screen unit (2) with a viewing screen housing (6) supported swivelably around a swivel axis (4). The viewing screen housing (6) has the shape of a circular cylinder segment, where the viewing screen plane essentially coincides with the intersecting plane (10) of the circular cylinder segment and the pivot axis (4) coincides with the cylinder axis. In a preferred embodiment, the viewing screen housing (6) is fastened swivelably onto a receiving housing (8) containing at least part of the components. The receiving housing (8) is provided with a concave recess (19) turned toward the viewing screen housing (6), which recess fits closely against the curved rear wall of the viewing screen housing. The supporting of the swivelable viewing screen housing is preferably done by supporting means which act on either the inside of the end faces or on the curved back side of the viewing screen housing (6).

  • Patent number: 4247871
Abstract: A color filter is placed between the face of a cathode ray tube display unit and a matt black gauze to produce an amber-colored image background. This highlights yellow data characters. The filter is a curved acrylic glass pane either bonded to the tube face in spaced relation or secured thereto by means of a sealing gasket of unique design and construction.

  • Patent number: 4035008
Abstract: An automatic protection device for a roller blind to prevent unauthorized raising of the blind from the outside by means of two-arm toggle joints whose lever ends are linked at one of the adjacent roller blind staves so that upon unauthorized raising the free toggle joint moves against the flange of U-shaped guide channel in combination with a compensating member in the face region of the upper roller blind stave and movable relative thereto exerts on the locking teeth of the free toggle joint through the action of an additional force means such as an elastic compressible material, a pressure by which the locking teeth are brought against the flange of the guide channel. This not only assures positive locking but also acts to compensate for differences in stave spacings and widths of guide channels thereby reducing manufacturing and inventory costs.
