  • Publication number: 20030173917
Abstract: A method for controlling an electric drive motor (10) of a motor vehicle adjusting drive by means of applying a variable voltage to it should be improved so that an EMV interference suppression can be inexpensively executed. To this end, a controllable resistor (12, 18, 20, 22) is used, which supplies the voltage applied to the drive motor (10).

  • Publication number: 20030102946
Abstract: A pole wheel of the type driven in rotation by a shaft employs a sensor system disposed on the pole wheel for detecting rotations of the shaft. The pole wheel includes a first component in the form of a hollow magnet body and a second component that is disposed as a retaining part for the first component and is seated firmly on the shaft and is embodied integrally, for the sake of streamlined connection to the first component, with connecting means. Recesses, which for instance can be embodied in groovelike fashion, may be disposed on the second component, that is, the retaining part seated solidly on the shaft, and the first component is injected molded onto the second component, creating positive engagement connecting means comprising the material of the magnet body.

  • Patent number: 6486577
Abstract: There is provided an apparatus for regulating the position of an adjustably positionable vehicle part such as a window or movable roof. The apparatus includes an electric drive motor having a drive shaft which is axially displaceable within a fixed limit during driving operation of the shaft. The apparatus also includes a power transfer assembly having a driven member operatively connected to the drive shaft of the electric drive motor for driving movement thereby and a damping member for damping the axial displacement of the drive shaft of the electric motor in one axial direction. The apparatus further includes a housing having a chamber compatibly dimensioned with respect to the damping member for receiving the damping member therein in a press fit disposition.

  • Patent number: 6459183
Abstract: An electric motor drive mechanism, in particular a window control drive mechanism for a motor vehicle, has an electric motor (10), which has a motor armature shaft (12) that is operatively connected to a gear unit (14) surrounded by a gear housing (16), and also has a motor electronics unit (18) surrounded by an electronic housing (20). The electronics housing (20) has a guide rail (22), extending radially to the motor armature shaft (12), for insertion of the electronics housing (20) via a counterpart guide (23) disposed on the gear housing (16).

  • Publication number: 20020135214
Abstract: The invention is based on an apparatus for adjusting a vehicle seat, the position of which can be adjusted via one or more geared motors (8, 38, 41, 42), wherein the geared motors (8, 38, 41, 42) can be actuated via a control (24). A vehicle seat underbody (3, 32, 45) is supported at at least three points by means of driven lifting spindles (16), driven guide bars (28, 39, 40) or sliding fixtures (34, 35, 43), wherein at least one support point (16, 29, 34) can be varied relative to the other remaining support points of the vehicle seat in such a fashion that a spherical seat adjustment results.

  • Patent number: 6373365
Abstract: A hollow magnet body with an annular auxiliary body and produces them as a combined component using an injection molding process. In this connection, an inner diameter of the annular auxiliary body is embodied as greater than a diameter of the associated shaft so that a tubular section extends out from the material of the hollow magnet body between this shaft and the annular auxiliary body and is suited for the production of a press fit. As a result, the annular auxiliary body made of metal supplies the main component of the pressing forces, thus counteracting the danger of the hollow magnet body splitting.

  • Patent number: 5546014
Abstract: A method and a device are proposed for setting the short circuit moment in electric motors, particularly in servomotors. For this purpose, the actual short circuit moment of the electric motor is measured and compared with a predetermined short circuit moment. Then the set short circuit current required to attain the desired moment is calculated. A predetermined value for the set short circuit current, which is a function of the calculated value, is then stored in an electronic control device for the electric motor. For this purpose, the device includes a memory in the control device for storing the predetermined set value. In this way it is possible in a simple and economical manner to equip even motors that are produced in manufacturing series and in which greater component tolerances exist, with a short circuit moment that lies within a narrow tolerance range.
