  • Publication number: 20240023701
Abstract: The present invention concerns a process for producing toothbrushes covered with bristles in an anchor-free manner, in which a tuft of bristles with cylindrical bristles and/or pointed bristles is introduced into a receiving recess of a mold of a bristle-providing machine and, by means of a profiled pin guided in the receiving recess, force is applied to the end facing the pin of the bristles of the tuft of bristles for the alignment thereof, so that the bristles of the tuft of bristles are aligned by means of an end face of the profiled pin and, as a result, form the topography that complements the topography of the end face of the profiled pin, wherein the profiled pin has on the end face that acts on the bristles a discontinuous surface, which forms multiple levels. This achieves a bristle area configuration that has multiple areas of use. A correspondingly produced toothbrush is also described.

  • Publication number: 20210145162
Abstract: A cleaning device, in particular a toothbrush, with a handle body consisting of a handle part, a head part and a neck part connecting the handle part to the head part. The head part has applied to it one or more applicator and/or cleaning elements, which form a bristle area which has at least one outer side and/or an upper side. At least one of the applicator and/or cleaning elements on the at least one outer side and/or an upper side of the bristle area and/or the handle body is/are marked or printed with a marking/color medium.

  • Patent number: 6685459
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for treating blocks, having a conveying arrangement for transporting the blocks one after the other along a treatment station in which there is arranged at least one tool holder which can be driven in circulation by means of a drive, has a longitudinal axis and on which there are fastened flexible, elongate treatment tools which have two ends and come into contact with predetermined regions of the blocks as the tool holder circulates. The flexible treatment tools are fastened in loop form, by way of the two ends, on the tool holder such that they are spaced apart from one another in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the latter, with the result that they sag when the tool holder is at a standstill.

  • Patent number: 5876689
Abstract: During the manufacture of milk of lime by the suspension of lime hydrate which has a large specific surface and was manufactured with the use of organic solvents and/or organic additives, a stable foam forms which can cause problems in the equipment. This foaming can be prevented during the suspension of the modified lime hydrate in water by the presence of finely-powdered activated cokes.

  • Patent number: 4482584
Abstract: Painting a band on elongated stock having an elongated edge by means of a spray gun placed at a particular distance from the stock which is controlled by a driven spindle mounting the gun. A scanning unit has a particular distance from the edge of the stock and scans an edge of a painted band, and a control circuit is connected to the scanning unit and operates the spindle drive for maintaining the spray gun on the spindle in a particular position relative to the edge of the stock.
