  • Patent number: 4142666
Abstract: A carton includes bottom flaps that, upon erection of the carton, fold inwardly and interlock to form a strong lock bottom carton ready for immediate loading without the aid of fastening means. The structure allows the carton to be used as a retripper whereby the bottom flaps are folded inwardly as the carton is collapsed to a flat, shipping state with the relation between the interlocked flaps being such as to allow ready return of the lock bottom condition upon re-erection of the carton.
