  • Patent number: 6960052
Abstract: A machine tool having at least one or more spindles that can be positioned in space, the spindle being mounted on displaceable slides by rods and the displacement of the slides leading to the spindle being positioned in space. A correction device is provided which defines the actual position of the spindle relating to one or more reference points.

  • Patent number: 5794665
Abstract: A Jacquard machine for the positive lifting and lowering of the warp threads in a weaving machine, without the employment of harness cords and a method of operating the Jacquard machine. The Jacquard machine includes for each of a hook (6) a bistable element. The bistable element is formed as an elastically deformable rod (1) or an elastically deformable leaf spring. Periodically, a mechanical deformation loading acts on the bistable element which takes the bistable element into one of two stable states in dependence upon a slight initial deflection. An initialization device (8) brings about a slight deflection of the bistable element before the action of the mechanical deformation loading, in view of which it is ensured that the bistable element takes up a particular one of its two stable states.

  • Patent number: 5010927
Abstract: A hold-down device for Jacquard controlled loom machines including a resilient element which exerts a spring force on the hook which is attached to the heald of the machine. The hold-down device is arranged between the hook cord and the cord assembly. The spring force provided by the resilient element is determined by the stroke of the Jacquard machine. Where it is desired for the device to be retrofitted to a Jacquard controlled loom machine, a plurality of resilient elements may be arranged in a matrix between two perforated plates, with springs being arranged in guide tubes and a stop member being attached to the cord assembly. The unit formed by the plurality of resilient elements can be arranged at an adjustable height between the frame of the Jacquard machine and the loom.

  • Patent number: 4936352
Abstract: A double lift, open shed Jacquard machine in which the lifting knives of two sets of lifting knives which are to be moved in opposite directions are linked at their ends to oscillating shafts by lever arrangements. The oscillating shafts are mounted in the machine frame and are pivoted via a form-locking connection to the eccentric of an eccentric gear. The rotating shaft of the eccentric gear is coupled with a driving motor. The oscillating shafts can be mounted by supports along their length in the machine frame. In this manner the masses to be moved can be substantially reduced with a simple constructional design and furthermore assembly is facilitated.

  • Patent number: 4936357
Abstract: An open shed Jacquard machine in which two hooks are connected at one end over a common pulley and can be coupled with knives when moving in opposite directions. A common electromagnet arranged between the hooks serves for control according to a pattern in a defined shed position. The electromagnet is mounted in a housing to tilt or see-saw about an axis. In the reading position each hook is mechanically moved to approach the pole of the electromagnet, in particular to abut against it.

  • Patent number: 4067363
Abstract: A shedding device for a double-lift open-shed Jacquard loom which comprises a pair of vertically shiftable horizontal blades adapted to pass each other and cooperating with lifters which are provided with projection in opposite directions respectively engageable by the blades. The blades of each are provided with spaced apart lifter-engaging surfaces adapted to engage the respective projection upon upward movement but to deflect the lifter away upon downward movement past the projections. Between these spaced apart surfaces of the blades, the blades are incapable of engaging the lifters and the lifters can be shifted transversely to the blades to position them in line with an inclined engaging surface of the blade or in a region between such engaging surfaces.
