  • Patent number: 4463658
Abstract: An arrangement for controlling the lifting mechanism of a tractor or a harvester or a harvester combine comprising a hydraulic actuator (17) connected to the lifting mechanism and controlled by a control valve (19) leaving a hydraulically controlled spool arranged in the bridge diagonal (27-19-27') of a hydraulic bridge circuit (23, 24, 25, 26), in the bridge branches of which two actual force value transducers (41, 42) for generating hydraulic signals proportional to the position of the lifting mechanism and desired force value setting means (32, 52) are respectively located for controlling the hydraulically controlled valve (19). An additional control valve (33) or throttle unit (53a) is provided for selecting one or both of the actual force transducers and if desired for controllably mixing the actual force signals.

  • Patent number: 4420935
Abstract: The hydraulic system has an adjustable pump for delivering pressure fluid to a plurality of loads, multiway control valve assigned to respective loads and means for adjusting the flow of the pressure fluid to the working conditions of the loads, the adjusting device includes measuring throttles provided in the switching passages of respective control valves and a flow regulating device having a differential piston displaceable by the pressure difference at the outlet of the pump and at the outlet of the measuring throttle of the activated control valve. The differential piston controls a branched stream of high pressure fluid from the pump to control an actuator in the form of a cylinder and piston unit mechanically coupled to the adjusting member for the pump.

  • Patent number: 3964518
Abstract: An electrohydraulic control unit which regulates the flow of hydraulic fluid to and from one or more consumers by way of a directional control valve has a cylinder for a piston which is mechanically connected with or constitutes the spool of the directional control valve and divides the interior of the cylinder into two plenum chambers connected to the outlet of the pump, either directly or by way of a pressure reducing valve. The chambers are further connected with the tank and each of the fluid supplying and evacuating conduits for each of the two chambers contains a flow restrictor. Th flow restrictors in conduits for admission of fluid to the chambers are mounted upstream of check valves and the flow restrictors in conduits for evacuation of fluid from the chambers are mounted upstream of or constitute integral parts of two solenoid-operated auxiliary valves. The four flow restrictors together constitute a hydraulic bridge circuit.
