  • Patent number: 5784812
Abstract: A method for the positionally correct placement of an operating equipment including a scoop tiltably disposed on a descending lift frame of a mobile machine including a wheeled loader. An automatic positioning device is actuated thereby activating a first magnetic valve utilizing a logical switching device cooperating with the automatic positioning device for switching a tilting piston of a control slide operatively connected to a tilting cylinder and to the lift frame into a position in which the control slide releases an oil flow to the tilting cylinder. The oil flow is delivered utilizing a controlled pump. A plurality of measurements is performed of a traveled distance of a piston rod of the tilting cylinder at predeterminable places during a continued extension of the piston rod thereby obtaining distance measurement values.

  • Patent number: 5038825
Abstract: In a hydraulically operated multiport valve having a floating position for connecting the cylinder chambers of a hydraulic piston-cylinder drive, a valve slide and a restraining piston associated with it are provided. By means of a respective dimensioning of the surface of both the part of the valve slide which can be charged with control pressure for attaining the floating position and of the restraining piston, a displacement of the restraining piston against the maximum pressure present in its control chamber becomes possible.

  • Patent number: 4852660
Abstract: A grader has a grader blade which can be pressed against the ground or lifted off it by means of piston-cylinder drives. To be able to vary the downard pressure of the grader blade in its float position, either the piston chamber or the piston ring chamber of each drive can be charged with a working fluid under pressure when the grader blade is in the float position, so that the corresponding drive exerts a force on the grader blade which increases or decreases the downward pressure of the grader blade on the ground. While still allowing the grader blue to follow the contour of the ground.

  • Patent number: 4466377
Abstract: A device for fastening handles, that consists of a connecting bushing (16) and an insert (18) that are attached to both the implement (86) and to the handle (10). The insert (18), which has a rectangular cross-section, is locked into the insertion opening in the connecting bushing when a catch (62) on a leaf spring (64) engages a hole (61) in the insert. The resulting positive lock can be disengaged by a push-button (48) or sliding sleeve. The push-button (48) rests against the end (74) of the leaf spring (64) and can be used to displace the catch (62) on the leaf spring from the hole (61). An axially elastic sleeve (84) between the end of the handle and the connecting piece (20) compensates for tolerances. The circular handle merges gradually into an oval or ellipse toward the connecting piece (20).

  • Patent number: 4461357
Abstract: A furrower having shares that are displaceable on a support pipe which is connected to a tool attachment socket by a swivel joint, that can be fastened in any position. The fastening place is effected by a clamping device which can be released against spring action by a manual knob or button. A clamping member within the head of the share is pressed by means of its clamping section against the support pipe. This clamping section can be released by pushing the manual knob inwards. Preferred places of attachment to the support pipe are defined by notches. Each notch can accommodate one share, the share being engaged with the notch by means of a notch pin.
