  • Publication number: 20070254987
Abstract: A composite siding panel includes PVC resin, wood flour in an amount of about 88.33 to about 132.5 parts per hundred parts of PVC resin, a stabilizer in an amount of about 1.2 parts per hundred parts of PVC resin, wax in an amount of about 0.25 to about 0.35 parts per hundred parts of PVC resin, and a wood stabilizer in an amount of about 0.5 to about 3 parts per hundred parts of PVC resin.

  • Publication number: 20060026921
Abstract: A splicing member for securing horizontally adjacent siding panels to one another in an abutting relationship includes a first substantially planar member having an upper edge and a lower edge. Each of a pair of flanges extends outwardly from opposed sides of the first substantially planar member proximate the upper edge. A shoulder extends inwardly from the lower edge of the first substantially planar member. A second substantially planar member extends downwardly from an inner edge of the shoulder. A pair of projections extends downwardly from the shoulder and outwardly from the second substantially planar member.

  • Patent number: 4271883
Abstract: A storage arrangement comprises a container formed by a circumferential wall of flexible material and having an axis, and suspendable so that the axis of the container extends in an upright direction. The container has an upper end, a lower end and an axial cross-section which has sides spaced from one another in direction transverse to the axis and decreases in direction from the upper end toward the lower end. The axial cross-section of the container includes at least one axial portion laterally bounded by sections of the sides, which sections are non-straight in the direction from the upper end toward the lower end of the container. The arrangement has elements for suspending the container so that the axis thereof extends in the upright direction. The sections of the sides of the axial cross-section of the container may gradually approach one another. On the other hand, the sections of the sides of the axial cross-section of the container may approach one another in a stepped manner.

  • Patent number: 4251013
Abstract: A storage vessel includes a housing which has an inlet for introducing flowable particulate material into, and an outlet for withdrawing the same from the housing. At least one expandable cushion is located inside the housing and is operative for expanding and collapsing so as to agitate the material contained in the housing to thereby prevent agglomeration of the material. Air is introduced into the cushion to expand the same.

  • Patent number: 4152268
Abstract: An arrangement for removing water from mud and the like has a flexible container having an inlet and an outlet opening. A flexible tubular member is located outside and adjacent the outlet opening of the container. Means are provided for deforming the flexible tubular member so that the latter closes the outlet opening of the container during dewatering of the mud. The flexible tubular member may be formed either of a one piece with the container or as a separate part connected to a front end portion of the same. At least two ring-shaped elements are provided, one of which elements is connected to the front portion of the container, and the other element is connected to the flexible tubular member and rotatable relative to the first ring-shaped element. By means of rotation of the other ring-shaped element the flexible tubular member is deformed so as to close the outlet opening.

  • Patent number: 4120273
Abstract: Starting aid for internal combustion engines according to which fuel is conveyed to a flame heater plug extending into the interior of an outwardly bulging section of the air intake manifold which bulging section is larger than the entire plug portion extending into the bulging section of the air intake. A perforated cover is interposed between the flame heater plug and the air intake manifold, and more specifically is located in the area where the bulging section of the air intake manifold bulges out from the latter.

  • Patent number: 4081011
Abstract: A container of a pliable material comprises a tubular wall having an upper marginal portion, an upper end wall connected to the marginal portion of the tubular wall, and two suspension elements located opposite to one another and connected to the marginal portion of the tubular wall. Each of the suspension elements forms a loop having an interior and is provided with two side edge portions spaced from one another in a transverse direction and laterally bounding the interior. Each of the side edge portions is provided with a hem fixedly connected to the marginal portions of the tubular wall by means of seams. The seams comprise at least two first seams extending in a longitudinal direction of the suspension elements and spaced from one another in the transverse direction and at least two second seams intersecting one another and extending between the first seams at an angle to the latter.
