  • Patent number: 4586805
Abstract: In a device for developing of photo material in a treatment container (11) a plurality of supply containers (20) for different treatment liquids (22) are provided which are controlled with gas pressure by a gas line (57) connected thereto. In this case the treatment liquid (22) is fed through an associated feed pipe (56) into a collection line (34). This is defined by a distributor valve (70) in accordance with a control program. In order to develop reliable and simple devices, the flow paths (56,34,42) of the treatment liquid (22) from the different supply containers (22) to the treatment container (11) should be free of valves and the distributor valve should only be admitted by the gas, whereby the controlled outlet of the distributor valve is relieved from the gas pressure (58) at the end of an operating phase. A sensor (59) reacts on the flow of the treatment liquid and actuates a timer which after a certain time period again switches the distributor valve.

  • Patent number: 4473283
Abstract: An arrangement for developing photomaterials has a rotatable drum arranged to accommodate a photomaterial, a plurality of vessels for various treatment fluids, an arm having a free end rotatably connectable with the drum and turnable together with the latter between a substantially horizontal initial position for supplying a treatment fluid from one of the vessels into the drum for treatment of the photomaterial and an inclined emptying position for discharging a used treatment fluid from the drum after the treatment, a guide arranged so that the vessels are located near one another in a stack and displaceable to the drum for filling the latter, a stepping element including the arm and arranged to displace the vessel of the stack by a respective one of the vessels in a cycle with the turning of the arm, and a lifting member provided on the arm and arranged so as to upwardly tilt the vessel which has been displaced to the drum, to its pouring position of the treatment fluid.

  • Patent number: 4448365
Abstract: A spool for developing (and optionally drying) strip-shaped film material has a core and two axially spaced end flanges provided with many large cut-outs so as to leave only a few narrow, spoke-like portions of material. A pair of inserts is provided which are placed against the outer sides of the respective end flanges and have projecting plug-like portions which enter the respective cut-outs. The inner surface of each of these plug-like portions has a plurality of major fragments of the turns of a spiral groove. The inner surfaces of the spoke-like portions have spot-support portions defining on each spoke-like portion a plurality of minor fragments of the turns of the same spiral groove, so as to complete the groove when the plug-like portions are inserted into the cut-outs. The film strip or strips is (or are) then inserted into the groove to spirally surround the core. Thereafter, the inserts are detached from the spool and can be immediately used to load another spool.

  • Patent number: 4410034
Abstract: A tempering arrangement for containers, particularly for bottles with photo-developing chemicals, has a tank for accommodating a tempering bath and having an opening for inseting a container, an abutment provided in the tank and engageable with the container in an end position of the latter inside the tank, and two guiding formations provided in the interior of the tank and spaced from one another by a distance which is smaller than the transverse dimension of the container. Thereby, the container and/or the guiding formations deform during the insertion of the container into the tank.

  • Patent number: 4247199
Abstract: A frame for partial illumination in copying of negatives, diapositives and the like onto a copying paper, has a paper-receiving plate with a paper supporting face, a cover plate alternatively positionable onto and withdrawable from the paper-receiving plate, and a member located adjacent to the paper-receiving plate and forming a focusing face at the height of the paper-supporting face. The member may be attached to the paper-supporting plate or to the cover plate. It may be formed as an actuating member of a paper-lifting device.

  • Patent number: 4226528
Abstract: A holding device for holding a laminar photographic material, particularly in production of photographic enlargements, has a supporting member with a supporting surface arranged so that a laminar photographic material can be placed on said supporting surface from outside, and an ejecting device associated with the supporting member. The ejecting device is movable between an operative position in which it projects outwardly beyond said supporting surface in a direction transverse to the latter so as to lift the laminar material from the supporting surface, and an inoperative position in which the ejecting device does not project outwardly beyond the supporting surface in the transverse direction. The ejecting device may be formed as a two-armed ejecting member whose one arm is arranged to be urged by the user, whereas the other arm lifts the laminar material from the supporting surface in response to such urging.
