Patent number: 12190665Abstract: An access control method for people in which the access control device (16) is assigned to an access point. Each access control device (16) has at least one antenna (1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 11), which emits beacons. Each access area (3) can only accommodate one person at a time. All antennas lie on an antenna plane. The transmitted beacons containing a unique access point ID, which positively identifies the access point and a unique antenna ID within predefined intervals. The received beacons are analyzed based on the RSSIs (Received Signal Strength Indicator) such that the distance of the mobile device (14) to the at least one antenna (1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 11) is determined. The received access point ID are transmitted to a server (15) or to the access control device (16) for analysis. Access is granted if the access authorization is valid for the access point ID.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2023Date of Patent: January 7, 2025Assignee: SKIDATA GmbHInventors: Martin Haslinger, Walter Lechner, Martin Haidacher

Patent number: 11433854Abstract: An access control method in an access control system that comprises at least one access control device with an antenna (2, 3, 4). Verification of an access authorization is based on analysis of a beacon transmitted by a first wireless communication standard. The beacon contains an ID to which a unique identifier (TID) of the data carrier and a unique beacon ID of the data carrier (1) transmitting the beacon is assigned. The unique identifier and unique beacon ID allows positive beacon identification. The identification and localization of the data carriers (1) is realized by analyzing the RSSIs of the transmitted beacons. The unique beacon IDs ensure that the RSSI values of the same respective beacon of a data carrier (1) are used in the course of the RSSI analysis. The closest data carrier (1) is determined, during the RSSI analysis, and the transmitted ID is analyzed to grant access.Type: GrantFiled: January 12, 2021Date of Patent: September 6, 2022Assignee: SKIDATA AGInventors: Walter Lechner, Martin Haslinger, Reinhard Surkau, Martin Haidacher

Publication number: 20060215616Abstract: A device for detection of the lateral position of a data carrier (2, 3) has a scanning unit (1) to read out data deposited on the data carrier by means of radio-frequency signals. For the detection of the position of the data carrier (2, 3) on the one or other side of an antenna pair (A1, A2), the scanning unit (1) has a circuit to determine the modulation depth (T1, T2) of the signals received from the data carrier (2, 3) by the two partial antennae (A1, A2).Type: ApplicationFiled: March 23, 2006Publication date: September 28, 2006Inventor: Walter Lechner

Patent number: 6731318Abstract: For recording and erasure of data on a reversibly writable thermal recording material (5) with a thermal print head (2), the heating elements (8) of the thermal print head for recording are subjected to an energy pulse (W) which causes the recording material to be heated to a temperature (T1) at which it assumes a colored and/or opaque state. For erasure subsequent to the recording pulse (W), the heating elements (8) are subjected to an energy pulse train (E1).Type: GrantFiled: October 25, 2001Date of Patent: May 4, 2004Assignee: Skidata AGInventors: Roland Aigner, Walter Lechner

Patent number: 3941212Abstract: The invention concerns a clockwork motor, particularly but not exclusively, for toys, wherein an escapement consisting of a friction memeber that is pressed resiliently against a sliding surface moving with a part of the clockwork motor running down under the action of a mainspring, and wherein the pressure force for the friction member is arranged to be approximately proportional at any given moment to the driving force of the mainspring at the moment. The friction member is mounted on a carrier spaced from and movable relative to the sliding surface, and a stationary end of the mainspring engages with the carrier.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 1975Date of Patent: March 2, 1976Assignee: Messrs.
