  • Patent number: 11972757
Abstract: Conversational image editing and enhancement techniques are described. For example, an indication of a digital image is received from a user. Aesthetic attribute scores for multiple aesthetic attributes of the image are generated. A computing device then conducts a natural language conversation with the user to edit the digital image. The computing device receives inputs from the user to refine the digital image as the natural language conversation progresses. The computing device generates natural language suggestions to edit the digital image based on the aesthetic attribute scores as part of the natural language conversation. The computing device provides feedback to the user that includes edits to the digital image based on the series of inputs. The computing device also includes as feedback natural language outputs indicating options for additional edits to the digital image based on the series of inputs and the previous edits to the digital image.

  • Patent number: 6385266
Abstract: A low-noise sampling PLL for high-resolution radar systems wherein the reference frequencies are taken from a line spectrum (SPK), which has been generated from the mixture of a low quartz oscillator frequency (F1) with a high quartz oscillator frequency (F2), with the quartz oscillator frequencies (F1, F2) being synchronized. The invention is employed in connection with sampling PLLs for high-resolution radar systems with a controllable frequency oscillator, whose output signal is partially coupled out into a feedback branch and compared with reference frequencies in a phase comparator.

  • Patent number: 4521567
Abstract: A method for making impact resistant molding compositions wherein a hard phase having a glass transition temperature above 25.degree. C. and consisting principally of methyl methacrylate is polymerized at least partially in a first stage, following which the monomers of a rubbery phase whose polymers have a glass transition temperature below 25.degree. C. are added in a second stage and the polymerization is carried to completion, polymerization of the hard phase in the first stage being performed in a presence of an oil soluble free radical initiator and of an organosulfur chain transfer agent having at least two thiol groups in the molecule, and polymerization of the monomers of the rubbery phase in the second stage being carried out with graft crosslinkers in the presence of the previously formed hard phase.

  • Patent number: 4463032
Abstract: What are disclosed are a method for making non-blocking soft polymer beads by applying an adherent polymer deposit on the beads, said deposited polymer having a glass transition temperature at least 10.degree. C. higher than the glass transition temperature of the soft polymer beads, which latter temperature is below 70.degree. C., and non-blocking soft polymer beads made by this method.

  • Patent number: 4326353
Abstract: A hand firearm, such as an automatic pistol, has a butt or handle in which a magazine is mounted. The magazine is retained in position by a locking member which can be actuated from either side of the pistol by the hand of the user holding the firearm. The locking member is a spring-loaded lever which has a projection received in an opening in the wall of the magazine to lock the magazine in position. An actuating member extends on both sides of the firearm and is operatively connected with the locking lever so that actuation of the actuating element will pivot the lever to unlock the magazine.

  • Patent number: 4313274
Abstract: A hand firearm has an axially movable firing pin which can be secured against axial displacement and a pivotable hammer which is retained in its cocked position by a safety lever. Upon actuation of the trigger a trigger arm first engages a release lever to disengage the firing pin from axial securement and subsequently engages the safety lever to release the safety lever from the hammer so that the hammer under the action of a spring moves from its cocked position to the firing position. The free end of the trigger arm is provided with longitudinally and laterally mutually offset abutments which sequentially engage the release lever and then the safety lever.
