  • Patent number: 5645386
Abstract: A force fit connecting element (1), particularly a wheel stud, which may be force fit into in a drilled hole (3) through the exertion of an axial force, having a shank (5) and a stop (4) in the shape of a head, a collar or the like, having a diameter larger than shank (5). The shank (5) has on the side facing the stop (4) a force fit section (10), which is oversized with respect to the corresponding drilled hole (3). The shank (5) has on the side facing away from the stop (4) a section (22) with a fastening thread (23). The force fit section (10) has a multiple-threaded, preferably at least triple-threaded, helical profile (11). The helical profile (11), with respect to the cylindrical surface area of the drilled hole (3), has a contact area fraction (33) of at least 30% and is made by cold forming.

  • Patent number: 5621057
Abstract: Alkenyl ether-siloxane compositions comprising(A) an oligomeric or polymeric organosilicon compound having on average more than one alkenyloxy group of the formulaR.sup.2 --CH.dbd.CH--O-- (VI)(B) a monomeric maleic and/or fumaric acid compound of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.2 is a hydrogen atom or the methyl radical,R.sup.3 is identical or different and is a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 16 carbon atoms, which can be interrupted by oxygen, sulfur or oxygen- or silicon-containing units, a substituted hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a silyl radical or a siloxanyl radical,R.sup.4 is identical or different and is a hydrogen atom, chlorine, bromine, fluorine or an optionally substituted alkyl radical andZ is an oxygen atom or a radical --NR.sup.5 --, where R.sup.5 has one of the meanings given for R.sup.3,optionally(C) initiators which form free radicals and optionally(D) inhibitors for regulating the pot life.

  • Patent number: 5527140
Abstract: The invention concerns a bush (13) to be formed around a lockbolt rivet (4) by means of a tool (14) which applies a longitudinal force, thus producing a high-strength riveted joint. The bush has substantially the shape of a hollow cylinder, but its shape deviates from rotational symmetry in such a way that when it is being formed around the lockbolt rivet (4), a torsional force acting in the direction of arrow (20) is superimposed on the longitudinal force acting in the direction of arrow (19).

  • Patent number: 4308760
Abstract: A gear is disclosed with a heavy loading capacity which has teeth roots between adjacent gear teeth and contact area patterns on the face of each gear tooth. Each tooth root includes a concave fillet running substantially in a direction of the rolling element generator line of the gear. The top of each tooth is substantially equidistant and a mirror image of the tooth root fillet.
