  • Publication number: 20200180483
Abstract: The invention relates to a motor-vehicle accessory, comprising a moveable first part and a vehicle-fixed second part, wherein the first part is guided on the second part by a guide (43), wherein the guide (43) comprises at least one rack (22a, 22b, 24a, 24b) in engagement with a gear (21a, 21b, 23a, 23b), wherein the rack (22a, 22b, 24a, 24b) is on one of the parts, and the gear (21a, 21b, 23a, 23b) is on the other part. The particular feature consists in that the guide additionally comprises a tolerance compensation that comprises at least one running rail (26a, 26b, 28a, 28b) on one of the parts and engages a running wheel (25a, 25b, 27a, 27b) on the other one of the parts, wherein the running wheel (25a, 25b, 27a, 27b) and/or the running rail (26a, 26b, 28a, 28b) is elastically deformable, and a press-fit is formed between the running rail and the running wheel, so that the meshing teeth of the first part and of the second part are urged into a defined position.

  • Patent number: 10471871
Abstract: The invention relates to a headrest (10) comprising at least one support rod (12a, 12b) by means of which a support (15) of the headrest is mounted on a vehicle seat, and a head-support part (25) is mounted on the support (15) in a fixed or movable manner relative to support (15), and the head-support part (25) covers a front part and a rear cover (17) held on the support (15) covers a rear part of the support (15), and the head-support part (25) has a primary edge and the support (15) has a secondary edge, and wherein the primary edge and the secondary edge overlap. It was the object of the invention to create a headrest that can be produced more easily and which offers greater flexibility in relation to different headrest variants for different customers. The object was achieved in that the head-support part comprises a front cover (18) and a separate head-support plate (16), wherein the front cover (18) forms the edge of the head-support part (25) and can be fastened on the head-support plate (16).

  • Patent number: 5502284
Abstract: A seat plate assembly intended more particularly for the driving seat of a commercial vehicle has a base portion and seat cushioning thereon. Between the base portion and the seat cushioning is a flat operating element with which a switching device can be actuated by way of an operatively interposed elongate actuating member for switching a functional device of the vehicle on or off in dependence on weight on the seat. The operating element is provided at its underside with at least one drive portion with which the elongate actuating member is displaced in its longitudinal direction towards the switch when the seat plate assembly is loaded with a weight, whereby the switch is actuated. Connected to the elongate actuating member is a spring which is mechanically stressed when said displacement movement occurs.
