    Abstract: A detection device for cannabinoid use including a base unit and a display screen disposed on the base unit. A central processing unit and a tetrahydrocannabinol testing device are disposed within the base unit. A testing slot is disposed on a bottom portion of the base unit, with a back end of the testing slot disposed within the tetrahydrocannabinol testing device. Each of a plurality of testing strips is slidably and removably disposed within the testing slot. A printer has a pair of T-shaped attachment extensions. Each of the pair of attachment extensions and a universal serial bus plug disposed on the printer simultaneously removably and slidably engages each of a pair of attachment slots and a universal serial bus port disposed on the base unit, respectively. The tetrahydrocannabinol testing device is configured to analyze and calculate the presence and amount of tetrahydrocannabinol in a person's bloodstream.

    Abstract: A piston pump delivers precise and repeatable volumes of a fluid from a reservoir to a downstream component, and includes a piston that is rotatably and reciprocally mounted within a cylinder. The outer periphery of the piston forms an interference fit with the inner periphery of the cylinder. At least one groove is formed in the outer periphery of the piston, with the groove defining a precise volume between the piston and the cylinder, and extending in an axial direction of the piston. The cylinder includes an inlet port for providing fluid communication between a reservoir and the at least one groove when the piston is in a first position, and an exit port circumferentially spaced from the inlet port for providing fluid communication between the at least one groove and a downstream component when the first piston is rotated to a second position where the at least one groove is aligned with the exit port.

    Abstract: A disposable aerosol generator for use with an inhaler device, which includes a heater adapted to volatilize liquid stored in the disposable aerosol generator and a method of using the inhaler, is provided. The disposable body includes a sealed chamber and an openable outlet. The chamber is located between first and second layers of material. The chamber holds liquid, which is expelled through the opened outlet when the fluid in the chamber is volatilized by the heater. The disposable body can include a series of spaced apart aerosol generators, each of which can be advanced to a release position at which the heater can heat one of the fluid containing chambers. Prior to heating the liquid, the outlet can be opened and the volatilized fluid can be expelled from the opened outlet into a passage of a dispensing member.

    Abstract: A retainer for retaining cooking utensils, such as spoons, forks, ladles, spatulas and stirrers over open cookware. Any food residue on the utensil drips back into the cookware as the utensil is being retained. A person may easily grasp the utensil by its handle without disturbing the cookware. The retainer includes a clipping portion which comprises spaced leg or legs connected to a retainer portion. The retainer portion includes an upper plate and lower plate spaced apart by an arm. The retainer portion retains a cooking utensil between a location of contact on the upper plate and the lower plate to extend the cooking utensil over the rim of cookware.

    Abstract: A distributor type fuel injection pump includes an injection pump to which fuel is supplied from one end of a bore accommodating a slidable shuttle. The shuttle is moved towards the one end of the bore during the filling strokes of the injection pump by way of a first valve means and is allowed to move away from said one end of the bore during an interval between the filling strokes of the injection pump by fuel under pressure derived from the outlet of a feed pump by way of a second valve means. An electrically operable valve is provided to limit the amount of fuel which can flow from said other end of the bore and a sensor is provided to detect the position of the shuttle within the bore and which by way of a control circuit actuates said electrically operable valve. A third valve means is provided to admit fluid under pressure to said other end of the bore when it is required to fill the injection pump.
