Patent number: 5883217Abstract: The present invention relates to polyurethane hot melt adhesive that are hardened by the action of moisture and which contain at least one reaction product from a component that contains NCO groups and an essentially linear hydroxypolyester, hydroxypolyether, and/or hydroxypolyetherester component. In addition, the present invention relates to a procedure for manufacturing a material that is permeable to water only in vapor form, this being in the form of a fiber material, in particular in the form of a web, which is joined to a polyurethane film, in which the fiber material is coated with a polyurethane material and subsequently the polyurethane material is hardened to form a water-vapor permeable film. The present invention also relates to a material that is permeable to water only in vapor form and which is in the form of a fiber material, in particular in the form of a web, that is bonded to a polyurethane film.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 1997Date of Patent: March 16, 1999Assignee: H. B. Fuller CompanyInventors: Harald Werenicz, Franz Maitz, Walter Nussbaumer, Ludwig Stingl, Franz Peter-Schmitz

Patent number: 5238337Abstract: A method for machining round material and in particular tubes by the whirling process, in which the whirling tool is designed as an annular cutting tool having an internal tooth system. The center point of the whirling tool is guided from the start on a path or curve so that a tube wall, for example, is not cut through by a linear feed but by a curve-like feed. This curve is followed via a CNC system. Due to the whirling process, which starts immediately, the length of cut of the tool in the workpiece is given a virtually uniform value just after the start of machining so that the chip volume can be optimized. In this way, the radial and tangential forces on the tool can also be reduced, which leads to optimization of the tool.Type: GrantFiled: December 9, 1991Date of Patent: August 24, 1993Assignee: Maschinenfabrik Ravensburg AGInventors: Walter Nussbaumer, Karl-Heinz Beyrer, Josef Mark

Patent number: 4840095Abstract: A turning machine which is used preferably for machining spatially complicated shapes. In order to achieve further machining possibilities, apart from the known adjusting possibilities and machining possibilities by means of a universal rest, the spindle head, alternatively or in addition hereto, is mounted on a machine bed in a longitudinally displaceable manner, if necessary in a transversely displaceable manner, an in a swivelable or rotatable manner.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 1987Date of Patent: June 20, 1989Assignee: Maschinenfabrik Ravensburg AGInventors: Walter Nussbaumer, Karl-Heinz Beyrer
