    Abstract: In a process for recovering solvents from the circulating air and exhaust air of a drycleaning machine by drying the circulating air and by fresh air drying with condensation and adsorption, the volume of air stream per unit volume is controlled in accordance with temperature and/or solvent concentration and heating and cooling energy reduced to achieve drying and recovery of the cleaning solvent with relatively low expenditure of energy and time.
