    Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for a JXP-type plug-in device that may be inserted within existing transmission equipment, such as RF amplifiers and the like, to provide an appropriate amount of flat attenuation to the lower frequencies of signals being processed in the equipment while allowing desired peaking at high frequencies of the same signals to compensate for high-frequency roll-off.
