Abstract: A heating device for heating underground soil including a conductor housed in a conductive casing, where when at least one driving current is supplied to the conductor, the conductor generates at least one magnetic field that induces at least one induced current in the casing. The driving currents are of a frequency sufficient to cause the induced currents to generate resistance in the casing, thereby increasing the temperature of the casing. A plurality of the heating devices may be arranged in an array to facilitate the heating of a zone of soil.

The trail generator retrieves references to data pages selected from the Internet from storage and generates a content trail for the data pages selected from the Internet. The content trail is generated using the references by organizing the references into a user-defined, ordered sequence in the content trail and interconnecting the reference using user-assigned relationships to define at least one path in the content trail that is navigable by a viewer.

Abstract: A method is presented for extracting information from a document by separating the document into segments and organizing the segments into a hierarchical structure. An audio rendition of the segments is generated and presented aurally to the user for selection of the segment to be presented. The selected segment is then presented aurally to the user. If desired an audio rendition of a summary may be generated and presented aurally to the user.

Abstract: The Vertical Horizontal Sliding Shelves are designed to improve storage and access efficiency of shelving by allowing both horizontal and vertical manipulation of shelf positions. This is accomplished through the use of rollers attached to the shelves and guided through a vertical and horizontal channel assembly. The positioning of the rollers combined with the spacing between the guiding channels forces the shelf to maintain a horizontal attitude when its position is manipulated either vertically or horizontally.

A reinforcing member is provided in the club whereby the strength of attachment of the shaft to the club is greater than with conventional wood type clubs. Additionally, because of the shape of the reinforcing member, a portion of the weight of the club head can be moved out to the peripheral regions thereof thereby providing a greater moment of inertia and a correspondingly better club. Furthermore, by means of providing edge radii of at least 0.15 inches and 0.25 inches on the bottom and top leading edges respectively of the face of the club and with a "trip step" there is a marked reduction in wind resistance thus lowering the power needed to swing the club or increasing club head velocity for equal energy input.
