  • Patent number: 6424518
Abstract: An aluminum electrolyte capacitor is composed of a capacitor winding, of an anode foil provided with a dielectrically effective barrier layer, having spacers (1), particularly of paper, saturated with an operating electrolyte, and of a cathode foil, and is built into a housing. The spacers have an impressed line structure (2) that is arranged from one face end of the capacitor winding to the opposite end face.

  • Patent number: 4984589
Abstract: A cellulose wrapper for a smoking article includes a cover layer and at least one inner layer. The cover layer has an area weight of 20 to 60 g/m.sup.2, a raw density of 0.5 to 0.9 g/cm.sup.3, an air permeability of 10 to 250 CU, a filler material content in the range of 10 to 60 percent, and a burn promoting salt content in the range of 0 to 5 percent. The inner layer has an area weight of 6 to 20 g/m.sup.2, a raw density of 0.7 to 1 g/cm.sup.3, and an air permeability of 0 to 12 CU. The layers are wet laminated in a paper machine. Smoking articles with such a wraper do not experience a change in taste of the main smoke flow nor any spot development, and they afford an attractive ash tube or sheath. The time period for extinguishing the smoking article can be varied within wide limits. Moreover a drastic reduction of secondary smoke flow can be noted.

  • Patent number: 4548677
Abstract: The invention relates to a cigarette paper having the conventional burning additives and fillers containing from 20 to 50% by weight of bast fibres of fine fibrillation, with which a degree of grinding of at least 85 SR is produced. The cigarette paper produced according to this formulation has a pore structure which greatly promotes diffusion, in particular diffusion of carbon monoxide.

  • Patent number: 4185643
Abstract: In the preparation of synthetic mouthpiece paper for cigarettes which simulates cork, of the type wherein the paper has randomly distributed and formed depressions therein formed by stamping the paper and wherein the paper is densified in the depressed areas it is found that the similarity to cork is additionally improved by applying a coating of lacquer over the entire surface of the paper whereby the luster of the depressed portions of the paper in increased while the matt luster of the remaining portions of the paper is retained.
