  • Publication number: 20120086250
Abstract: An adjusting device for adjusting a side cheek of a seat comprises a bending element (31) which is to be coupled to the side cheek and the curvature of which can be reversibly changed, and a holder with a base section (36) and a pivoting section (37) pivotably attached thereto. The adjusting device is designed in such a way that, when a force is exerted by means of an actuating device (21, 22), the bending element (31) is first displaced relative to the holder and then bent, so that a section (34) to be coupled to the side cheek executes a movement which runs first rectilinearly and then arcuately and which is transmitted to the side cheek of the seat.

  • Publication number: 20090051200
Abstract: For the height adjustment of a side cheek (6) of a seat (5), a pulling force is exerted with the aid of a corresponding adjusting mechanism (4) on a movable component (7, 8) of the side cheek (6) in order to variably adjust the height of the side cheek (6). For this purpose, in particular an adjusting element (11) which is mounted displaceably on a link (9) is preferably displaced along a guide opening (10) provided in the link (9) in order to describe a predefined curve along which the side cheek is lowered or raised.

  • Patent number: 7445290
Abstract: An adjuster is proposed for the vertical adjustment of a head restraint (1, 2) of a seat (3), said head restraint being equipped with adjustment means (4) movable in an adjustment direction (A) which are formed in such a manner that it can engage with a head restraint (1, 2), that can be inserted into the head restraint holder, whereby drive means (8) for producing an adjustment movement of the adjustment means (4) are additionally provided. The drive means (8) in this case form a unit spatially separate from the head restraint holder. The adjustment movement of the drive means (8) in this case is transferred to the adjustment means (4) by flexible transmission means (16), such as, for example, a flexible shaft or a Bowden cable. As a result, the drive unit (8) can be placed independently of the head restraint holder.

  • Patent number: 5911504
Abstract: A stirring device for a container, such as a baby bottle, said stirring device exhibiting a recess which closes off the container opening when the container is inverted. The recess is fitted with an inner wall section with an inside thread for screwing in the container. A drive shaft of a stirrer extends through the bottom of the recess. The housing consists of an outer wall section, the inner wall section with the bottom and a ring section which connects the outer wall section with the inner wall section. The housing is closed off with a bottom plate. The batteries that supply electrical power to the stirrer motor are placed vertically between the outer wall section and the inner wall section.

  • Patent number: 5720552
Abstract: A drinking glass with an integral stirring assembly. The drinking glass includes a base to which a cylindrical top is attached. A stirrer is rotatably attached to the surface of the base so as to extend into the area subtended by the top. The stirrer is actuated by a motor inside the base. A seal seated in a recess located in the top of the base provides a seal around the top of the motor.
