  • Patent number: 7383801
Abstract: A valve gear arrangement for load change valves of internal combustion engines has an intermediate element that is pivoted on a lever in the cylinder head, to activate the load change valves. The intermediate element engages a cam of a camshaft and has fork-shaped parallel guides on guide cylinders, over the center axis of which a guide groove in the shape of a circular ring segment extends. A roller axle of a roller that engages the cam is displaceably guided in the guide groove. There are springs supported on the roller axle that force the roller axle against an adjustable guide element, counter to the acting forces, when it passes through a plateau region of the cam, and lies against the plateau region.

  • Patent number: 6082312
Abstract: In a manually operated machine such as a chain saw or the like, an internal combustion engine (10) located in a housing (17) and having an associated fuel injection mechanism (70) and an electro-mechanical module (80) is used to drive the machine. The engine (10) is a two-cycle one having a fuel container (140) arranged in or on the housing (17). The fuel injection mechanism in addition to the fuel container includes an injection valve (20) and a connecting tube (21) connecting the fuel container with the valve. For the connection between the outlet (22) of the injection valve (20) and the engine (10), a capillary tube (27) is used whose cross-sectional diameter is at maximum five times the cross-sectional diameter of the outlet of the injection valve, and the capillary tube is formed into the shape of a spring with its outlet opening directed into the engine block.

  • Patent number: 4505454
Abstract: For providing a minimum dimension and material consumption relative to the respective nominal width and optimal strength and flow conditions, an intermediate housing part of a check valve is composed of two semispherical shell halves connected by beam welding along a plane extending transverse to a throughflow axis, the shell halves include hollow connecting pieces and also half rings of a cover flange formed an upper housing opening, the intersecting point of the separating plane with the throughflow axis forms a sphere center of the intermediate housing part, a third part is formed by a pipe bend which has a truncated-cone-shaped chamfered end portion with which it is introduced into a respective inner conical bore from the supply side of the intermediate housing part and welded by an electron beam and which carries at its end opposite to the upper housing opening a valve seat ring, wherein the center of a spherical deflecting portion of the pipe bend at least approximately coincides with the center of the

  • Patent number: 4243204
Abstract: A valve housing made from steel, especially for gate valves, has a central housing part provided in opposite walls with frustoconical openings tapering in outward direction and being aligned along a common axis and a pair of connecting sockets having inner chamfered end faces of the same cone angle as the aforementioned openings and aligned along the common axis with the latter.

  • Patent number: 3975810
Abstract: A valve housing is composed of a pair of shell sections each of which has an open side surrounded by an edge face, and a semi-circular rib located within the open side and having a face slightly downwardly recessed from the associated edge face. The shell sections are placed together so that their edge faces abut, and these edge faces are welded to one another. The ribs are semi-circular in mutually opposite directions and thus form a circumferentially complete annular portion. Opposite this portion the housing is provided with an opening having a larger diameter than the portion, and after the shell sections have been welded together a material-removing tool is inserted through this opening and forms on the tubular portion a circumferentially complete annular welding face which is in part of stepped configuration.
