  • Patent number: 5540666
Abstract: There is disclosed an injection syringe assembly comprising a cannula module including a two-part cannula shield device having a separate front cap, as well as a latched-in cannula holder in which a cannula is glued. In the mounted state, a plug-like cannula seal is received in the front cap and the cannula holding means is located forwardly of the syringe cone of a syringe body of an injection syringe. It is indirectly fastened to the syringe cone by aid of an elongated fastening portion of the cannula shield device. The cannula shield device includes two predetermined breaking points in order to be able to recognize immediately unauthorized manipulations at the syringe.

  • Patent number: 5056465
Abstract: A cage structure for restraining primates includes a bottom of rectangular ground plan and formed by rods or tubes, side walls surrounding the bottom, and a ceiling. A cage structure of this type is to be manufacturable in any desired size and at low an expenditure as possible. The cage develops only low levels of noise. To this end, only one of the side walls, i.e., the front wall, is formed by rods or tubes, while the remaining three side walls and the ceiling are made of concrete or brickwork having their interior surfaces smoothed. The wall opposite the front wall, i.e., the rear wall, is displaceable towards and away from the front wall. At least one side wall and the ceiling incorporate inspection panes made of bullet-proof glass.

  • Patent number: 4281653
Abstract: A combined ampule-oneway injection syringe comprises a glass syringe body whose inner wall has been treated with a lubricant at a high temperature. One end of the body is permanently closed by a piston after a medicament has been located therein. The needle-side part of the syringe body is designed as a syringe cone having a peripheral annular groove. A connection piece including an inwardly directed nose-shaped part is undetachably engaged in the groove with clamping prior to the filling of the syringe body with medicament. A protecting cap is also located over the needle-carrying connection piece.

  • Patent number: 4067333
Abstract: There is disclosed a syringe for the storage and application of at least two injection media which are to be administered at different parts of a body and at different times. The syringe comprises a cylindrical syringe body and a piston guided slideably therein and being detachably fastened to an actuating rod. At a selectable distance between the piston in its original position and the syringe cone a floating piston is arranged which divides the syringe body into two compartments. For the injection procedure a needle with one pointed end is attached to the syringe cone and after the first compartment has been emptied a double needle is attached to the cone, which double needle pierces the floating piston and thus opens the second compartment.
