  • Publication number: 20070193834
Abstract: A method and system for remotely monitoring deliveries, the method and system include detecting an arrival of a delivery at an access point and notifying a monitoring center of the arrival of the delivery at the access point. The method and system include verifying at least one verification detail, which correlates to the delivery, and sending a configuration signal from the monitoring center to the access point, which has instructions for controlling an entrance at the access point. The method and system can further include sending a second configuration signal from the monitoring center to the access point, which has instructions for controlling an entrance at the access point upon completion of the delivery. The method and system can further include sending an indication signal from the monitoring center to the access point, which has instructions for controlling an indicator at the access point.

  • Patent number: 5777949
Abstract: A passive target detection system for use with a moving platform which indes a module for postulating modeled target signals based upon a number of factors including at least one factor selected from the group consisting of signal beam pattern, frequency, non-linear signal progression and carrier movement; a receiver for receiving signals from a target; and a comparison unit for comparing the signals with the modeled target signals, for determining location of the target.

  • Patent number: 5668777
Abstract: An integrated torpedo sonar signal processor having an integrated analog-digital conversion component is provided. The torpedo sonar signal processor has four groups of low-pass filtered analog-to-digital converters, each group containing thirteen converters. The output of a group (thirteen converters) is a serial data signal which is outputted to a field programmable gate array which, in turn, converts the combined signal to parallel data word. The parallel data word is outputted to a first digital signal processor which in turn outputs to a second dual-port digital signal processor, the processor providing prefiltering and space-time processing. The output signal is then sent to a beamformer dual-port digital signal processor which has an attached external memory. The beamformer signal is then outputted to a signal processor component containing four dual-port digital signal processors and a common external memory.

  • Patent number: 5331273
Abstract: Apparatus for controlling the temperature of an integrated circuit. A thelly conductive block has a vacuum passage connected to a vacuum pump for clamping the block to the top of an integrated circuit housing without mechanical clamping structures. A closed fluid loop including a circulating pump, heater and chiller modulate the temperature of a fluid passing through the conductive block thereby to control its temperature and the temperature of the integrated circuit independently of any other integrated circuit.

  • Patent number: 5291611
Abstract: A modular signal processing unit capable of being connected in series, palel or combinations thereof, is provided. Each modular unit is a parallel signal processor that receives input data on a plurality of parallel-signal input lines and sends processed data on the same number of parallel-signal output lines. Each modular signal processing unit has an input gate array for distributing the input data, a plurality of current state-of-the-art single chip, digital signal processors (DSP) to process the distributed data, and an output gate array to organize the processed data onto the parallel-signal output lines. The modular signal processing unit is easily upgraded by replacing the single chip DSP's as such technology improves.

  • Patent number: 5250753
Abstract: A wire assembly for electrically conductive circuits, the assembly comprig a circuit conductor wire having a coating of insulative material thereon, a shielding foil wrapped at least partially around the coating and having a leg portion extending outwardly from the coating, a shield conductor wire fixed to the shielding foil, and an insulative outer layer enclosing the shielding foil and the shield conductor wire.
