  • Publication number: 20030020453
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for measuring an electric current (1) that flows through a strip conductor (1). The inventive device comprises a measuring conductor (3) which extends along the current flow direction and in the proximity of a measuring section (2) of the strip conductor (1). The one end of said measuring conductor is directly and electrically connected to the one end of the measuring section (2). The remaining end of said measuring conductor is provided with a first measured value tap (4). The device comprises a second measured value tap (5) which is electrical connected to the remaining end of the measuring section (2). The aim of the invention is to freely select the dimensions of the strip conductor (1) and the measuring conductor (3) and especially to use a conventional strip conductor (1) and to better use said device and have a greater measuring accuracy at the same time. According to the invention, the measuring section (2) is rectilinear.

  • Patent number: 5436546
Abstract: To enable a gentle switching back of a change-pole motor to a low speed while ensuring the full moment or torque on passing into motor operation, a method for switching back the change-pole motor to the lower speed is proposed wherein initially there is a two-phase switching back to the lower speed, and wherein, on dropping below the predetermined switching current, the third phase is switched in. For this purpose, an ammeter is provided in the switched-in phase, with a comparator being provided for comparing the actual current with the predetermined switching current, and with a switch also being provided in the third phase to be switched in.

  • Patent number: 5278483
Abstract: A brake for a motor, particularly an alternating current motor with an electromagnetic brake is proposed for improving dynamic characteristics without increasing power loss, in which a brake magnet coil is subdivided at an intermediate tap into two partial coils, one of which is arranged in a freewheeling circuit.

  • Patent number: 4860167
Abstract: An electrical switching unit, such as a rectifier unit for an electromagnetic motor brake or the like is proposed having a base part and at least one top part, as well as a mounting plate carrying electronic components, in which a top part and the mounting plate are connected to an insertion unit insertible in the base part and that the top part is placed over the components on the mounting plate side provided with the components.

  • Patent number: 4729087
Abstract: An inversion method, particularly as part of a frequency change is proposed, e.g. for regulating three-phase motors, square-wave voltage pulses being produced by opening and closing electronic switches, so that repeatedly and in a desired order predetermined combinations of switch positions and associated number of clock intervals of unchanged switch position are in each case requested, the switch position combination set and the corresponding number of clock intervals is counted without changing the switch position.
