  • Patent number: 9334356
Abstract: The invention relates to a molding compound, comprising the following components: a) 60 to 96% by weight polyaryletherketone, b) 2 to 25% by weight hexagonal bornite, and c) 2 to 25% by weight talcum, wherein the sum of the parts by weight of components a), b), and c) is 100. Said compounds can be used to produce a film having a thickness of 5 to 1200 ?m, which is suitable for producing dimensionally stable circuit boards.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 7494092
Abstract: Lightweight structural component including at least one panel and at least one stiffening element oriented one of lengthwise and crosswise. The at least one stiffening element includes two side pieces. Each of the two side pieces is at least partially connected to the panel in a material-locking manner. The two side pieces are connected to the panel at two separate joint zones. A method of producing the lightweight structural component includes milling the at least one panel to form at least one thickened region and joining the two side pieces to the at least one panel at the two separate joint zones. This Abstract is not intended to define the invention disclosed in the specification, nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 6684593
Abstract: A structural panel component, such as an aircraft fuselage shell component, includes a single integral part having longitudinal and crosswise stiffening elements integrally arranged on a skin sheet. This integral component has been formed by a high speed milling chip removal process applied to a solid plate-shaped semi-finished starting material. The skin sheet has areas of differing thicknesses, and the height, thickness, and spacing of the stiffening elements varies as needed, depending on the local loading conditions that will prevail on the finished structural component. The configuration of the component can be optimized to minimize the weight while satisfying all load strength requirements. The manufacturing method is very simple and economical.
