  • Publication number: 20200148026
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to an automatic cooling/heating control method of an air conditioner for a vehicle. The present invention is intended to propose the control method, wherein instead of controlling indoor temperature via manual manipulation, operation modes set in figurative languages, not temperature, are used so as to automatically control indoor cooling/heating, whereby an atmosphere more pleasant than an atmosphere provided by a conventional method is efficiently provided and manipulation frequency of a console is reduced. To achieve the above objects, the control method includes: selecting an air operation mode desired by a user; starting an initial operation by the air conditioner after determining whether to cool, heat, or fan; setting the indoor temperature according to the outdoor temperature; resetting the set indoor temperature by using a correction value according to present indoor temperature; and operating by setting a reset indoor temperature to be a final set temperature.

  • Publication number: 20180300444
Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method for a fan simulation through flow analysis includes the steps of: inputting point data and tester dimensions by a user; generating a shape of a fan by calculating the point data, and generating a tester from the tester dimensions; generating grids on the fan; analyzing a flow generated by the fan by inputting boundary conditions for the fan; and calculating a noise index from the analysis, wherein, when the flow generated by the fan is in a steady state, the noise index is proportional to a pressure deviation depending on a location of the fan.

  • Patent number: 7179053
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an air-blowing apparatus of a cleaner. The air-blowing apparatus comprises a fan having a plurality of blades spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction of the fan for generating a blowing force in the centrifugal direction thereof, and a diffuser disposed outside the fan in the radial direction of the fan for diffusing air blown from the fan. Each blade is formed such that at least a part of the blade is shorter than the other part of the blade extending to the outer diameter of the fan, whereby noise is reduced while blowing efficiency is not affected.

  • Patent number: 6677564
Abstract: A blower apparatus which is used inside an Over-The-Range (OTR) microwave oven and the like, includes a centrifugal fan, a bracket which is fixed and combined with a side of the driving unit and a fan housing having a suction port which rotably accommodates the centrifugal fan, is fixed and combined with the bracket, and is formed in the shaft direction of the centrifugal fan, for sucking gas by rotation of the centrifugal fan, and a discharge port for discharging gas which is sucked through the suction port, being formed vertically to the suction port. The edge of the discharge port is formed in a convex shape in the shaft direction by the first inclined surface of a protrusion portion which is protruded in the shaft direction from the bracket and second inclined surface formed in the fan housing, and an inflection point is formed at the contact point of the first inclined surface and second inclined surface.

  • Patent number: 6278958
Abstract: A method for predicting a noise intensity emitted from a fan is provided. The method in accordance with the present invention provides data about the performance of the fan and a noise intensity corresponding to a shape of the fan and operating conditions so that the data are used in design and manufacturing of fans. The method comprises following steps for: analyzing a flow field around the fan on the basis of a fan shape and operating conditions; obtaining a noise source value of the fan from force data of blades at a given time in the analyzed flow field; and calculating a noise intensity from the noise source value.
