Abstract: An apparatus and a method of receiving/transmitting data in an electronic device are provided. A remaining capacity of a battery mounted to the electronic device is checked. When the remaining capacity of the battery is smaller than a predetermined reference value, a communication module takes over a control with regard to data reception/transmission. Also, power supply to the communication module and a memory unit is maintained, while power supply to the rest of components of the electronic device including a central processing unit is cut off. Accordingly, data can be received/transmitted as much as possible, and reception/transmission of data which has not been completely received/transmitted can be automatically performed when power is recovered.

Abstract: A helmet shield, in which the edge of the shield has a curved portion 10 the same as a top-to-bottom curved shield and its central portion is formed so as to have a rectilinear portion 20 as in a top-to-bottom rectilinear shield so that transparent films can be easily attached and the effect of wind during high-speed driving can minimized, is disclosed.

Abstract: A shielding device for a helmet installed so as to secure a sufficient field of vision as well as protect the face portion of the helmet wearer is disclosed. The shielding device for a helmet comprises a shield 10 to cover the opened portion of the helmet body 1; a sun visor 20 which is placed on the inside of the shield 10 to shut off sunlight; a visor 30 which is placed between the shield 10 and the sun visor 20 to block the inflow of rainwater; a hinge joining means 40 which pivotably supports both ends of the shield 10 and sun visor 30 so that they can pivot up and down in one body and/or individually; and a rotation interruption means 50 which obstructs the shield 10, sun visor 20 and visor 30 from descending due to self weight as well as makes the shield 10 be pivoted intermittently with respect to the visor 30.

The main body of the helmet has a dual-structure in that an outer surface thereof is formed of a thermoplastic for an aesthetic enhancement and an inner surface thereof is formed of FRP or a mixture of aramide fiber, polyethylene fiber, vinylon, carbon fiber. Thus-formed dual structure of the helmet body contributes to enhancement in impact resistance and convenience in painting, decreasing an overall weight of the helmet.

The jaw protector is provided with at least one releasable lock fixing the jaw protector in a lowered use position. The lock is deactivated for enabling a pivoting of the jaw protector to a raised position.
