Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for manufacturing a terahertz (THz) device. The method includes a step of forming a light-absorbing structure on a substrate by using a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process. The substrate includes a semiconductor structure, a sapphire substrate, a quartz substrate, or a combination thereof. The light-absorbing structure includes a semiconductor material, a two-dimensional material, a low-dimensional material, a magnetic material, a topological material, or a combination thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to a pivot joint structure of the motor rotor including a spindle and a snap ring. The spindle is centrally disposed in the rotor and the end thereof near the urging part has a scoop channel with smaller outer diameter. The urging part has at least one plane surface along the axial direction and the cross section is formed in a non-circular shape. The center hole of the snap ring takes the shape corresponding to that formed by the cross section(s) of the urging part and the gap therebetween provides a minimum space for the inserting in the urging part. Consequently, regardless of the assembly or disassembly of the rotor, the snap ring structure won't be affected and the deformation or fracture thereof won't take place.

The document-type definition (19) has content particles representative of the structure of the document data including one or more of the following content particles: elements, attributes of elements, nesting relationships between elements, grouping relationships between elements, schema (22) ordering indicators, existence indicators, occurrence indicators and element ID referencing indicators. The system and method described herein also contemplates loading the data into the relational database in a manner consistent with the relational schema (22). Metadata is extracted from the document-type definition (18) representative of the document-type definition (18).

Abstract: A system and a method for synchronizing and updating a relational database with supplemental data in which the relational database has a set of tables defined by a relational schema. The supplemental data preferably comprises data in a tagged format having a document-type definition representative of the relational schema and is represented in a document object. The system and method preferably ensure record-by-record updating and synchronization of the relational database with the at least one proposed data update by receiving at least one proposed data update from a source external to the relational database; and propagating the received at least one proposed data update into the relational database. In this matter, the compliance with both the relational database relational schema and the tagged data document type definition is ensured without requiring reloading existing data in the relational database.

Abstract: An adapter junction box is provided that consists of an upper and a lower shell, a base strip held in a base holder of the lower shell, a spring placed in each bushing segment on the top side of the base strip. A guard plate is put on the other end of the spring by a sleeve formed on the bottom side of the guard plate, so that the V-shaped heads of the sleeve of the guard plate are opposite to V-shaped guide heads of the bushing segment on the base strip, wherein the guard plate blocks the sockets. When a plug is correctly plugged into the sockets of the adapter junction box, the guard plate is turned at an angle by sliding the V-shaped heads on the V-shaped guide head as the guard plate is moved down by the pins of the plug, so that the path of the pins is cleared and the pins of the plug can engage the conducting strips. When a foreign object is plugged into one socket, the guard plate is pressed unevenly so that the guard plate is blocked and unable to turn to expose the conducting strips.
